The location was great, friendly staff and the breakfast was wonderful. The room was very large and fit my family's needs perfectly.

EVERY staff person that we interacted with a t this Hyatt Place was excellent; excellent customer service, from the desk staff when we checked in to the breakfast staff - they were excellent, they made us feel welcome & like special guests! Housekeeping was excellent! We only stayed here 2 nights & didn't expect any housekeeping service on our second day there, we were pleasantly surprised to come home after a fun and long day at Universal, to find our beds all made up! The afternoon after we checked out of the hotel, I received a call from the hotel staff saying that the housekeeper had found a ring that my son accidentally left in our room. The housekeeper found it -- so grateful for her! - and then the staff called us so that we could come back & pick it up before we flew home. The room was FABULOUS for a larger family! With 3 teenagers/young adults, it was a wonderful to have 2 queen beds, plus 2 bunk beds (we didn't even need to use the sofa bed so that we were able to use the sofa as a gathering spot for our family! Everyone had some space for themselves - this was wonderful for our family!

It is a very practical hotel to visit the Universal parks since it is just a 15-20 minutes walk. The room is big, clean and calm (no problem with noise, especially at night). Most of the front desk staff was friendly and helpful

There is a free shuttle to the Universal parks but to our opinion there are not enough departures: the parks open at 9 am and there is only 1 shuttle that was already full when we tried to book it at 7am (the following one was only at 9:45am, so too late to enjoy the park fully). On our first night we arrived after 11pm and the only food option available in the lobby was overpriced and not so fresh (16$ for 1 salty snack and 2 yogurts). The parking is expensive (22$ + tax) and not aligned with prices displayed on Booking. In our opinion this should be given for free and included in the price of the hotel.

The breakfast at this hotel is great! My family don’t eat pork. When we was staying they had breakfast options my whole family can eat. I have never seen a hotel have turkey meat options for the people that don’t eat pork but they did. The location was great, it was fun all around, within close proximity. The room was just like the picture. It was nice and clean and fit my party size well. Although the whole trip was nice and the hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and professional. But the fact that they had non pork meat options was the icing on the cake for me to say I will return to this place!

There is not to much bad I can say about the hotel. If I had to put something maybe more entrances all around the building to enter in. So maybe having other doors to enter but you need to use your room key to open it and then more elevators to get to the rooms. Although the wait for elevators wasn’t bad.

The staff are always kind. We’ve stayed here 3 times now and have been pleased each time. This last time we showed up at 11 am to go ahead and park (you have to pay to park but it’s cheaper than paying to park at Universal) and we went inside and they actually had our room ready already!! It’s about a 22 min walk to Universal. They do have a shuttle if you can catch it. The breakfast is good. And we’ve enjoyed all of our stays here.

I wish we didn’t have to pay to park. I understand it is likely to keep people who are not staying there from parking there but maybe we could just get a parking pass?

Large room with fridge and micro oven. Nice staff. 20 minutes walk to Universal Studios entertainment area and to the Hard Rock Live rock concert that I attended. Area around the hotel is a bit remote, but there are some restaurants and a Burger King and Walmart nearby. The hotel also arranged a few shuttle tours to Universal Studios.

Minor thing but just as many American hotels, the shower was just a fix one at the ceiling so not possible to wash just your hair. The area is cut in half by road with no cross over. It is possible to walk to Universal Studios but in hot temperatures, I would suggest a taxi or an Uber.

The family suite was huge, 2 comfy queen beds and bunk beds and a pullout sleeper sofa (,which we didn't use) for our family of 6. Housekeeping comes every other day. Clean quiet rooms, great staff. Originally we booked our stay on property at one of the Universal budget resorts but Booking.com got me this Hyatt Place Universal partner hotel for $300 less AND free daily hot/cold breakfast which really saved money. We filled up with scrambled eggs amd sausage and bagels and toast and french toast sticks and fruit and yogurt, then really didn't need to eat until dinner. Shuttle service to Universal free, but you .must make a reservation ahead of time and times are limited. We would definitely stay here again.

One of the elevators seemed to have something shutting it down for half the time we stayed. Construction on the road outside limited your travel. There is an $18 per day parking fee which I think shouldn't even be a "thing" when you're staying at a hotel.

The front desk service people were amazing 👏 & ready to help & guide in whatever capacity they can. The back end people too wether housekeeping or other staff at breakfast buffet were very cooperative & helpful. The mini kitchen area is a bonus for all guests. We could reheat packed food etc which was quite helpful with kids. The mini market next to reception was again an added advantage especially at odd hours.

The sink area in washroom could have been inside the bathing area. It was outside the bathroom wall, opposite the bed which created disturbance for those in the room.

my room was a king sized room with pull out sectional sofa. I loved the size, the cleanliness and how quiet it was. Some in my group had issues with musty mildew smells in their rooms, but I did not. The bed was large and comfortable and the tv was big and movable so it could face the bed. The air conditioning worked great and the kitchenette was lovely. The bathroom was a little small, but overall I was extremely happy with my room. The staff at the hotel were warm and friendly. They were attentive and very helpful.

The location was excellent for visiting the Universal parks, as is also for visiting Orlando itself as it’s very central to everything.Upon arrival and parking the car ( plenty of onsite Parking $18per day.) The staff were amazing!! from the moment we arrived to the day we departed. Rooms were spacious and very clean, towels and beds only changed every other day which is quite common nowadays. Breakfast was good but repetitive ( you would not go hungry though) ice machines on every other floor which is a must. Pool area was excellent as a nice place to top up the Tan and relax after the visit to the parks. Ticket office in the hotel so able to pre book for the Universal Parks as this also comes with a shuttle bus too and from the park at certain times. Within walking distance of the hotel is some bars and restaurants with a small store ( Walgreeves)
