we really enjoyed our stay here. The wonderful women at the front desk, who checked us in, was amazing and so accommodating and extremely helpful. The room was very nice, clean and spacious. An excellent location for universal.

This really isn’t a complaint just a suggestion. While the free breakfast had a lot of variety, there wasn’t anything a vegan could eat except a banana. so I’d love to see one vegan option.

The rooms were nicely set up, and having a suite with a separate sleeping area, and kitchenette was very nice. Having the extra space was a plus. The morning breakfast was great with a wide variety that changed every day. There was a cocktail reception on Wednesdays, but since we booked Saturday -Monday we were unable to attend. Perhaps think about maybe adding a weekend day to allow more access to this perk.

There were a few things that needed to be attended to repair wise, also encountered cockroaches in the kitchenette area. There was a slight need for general updating. The entrance to the property, which is your first impression, also was in shambles, needing repair to the driveway and some landscaping. Additionally I booked a King Sized suite, and was given a suite with two queen sized beds. Upon arrival the front desk allowed a person who was a part of my party, but not staying in my room nor paying for my room to check me in without any verification from me which let to billing problems that were straightened out.

The room/suite was good and spacious and had two rooms. and a small kitchen. There was a TV in each room and a great range of channels. The bathroom was a good size too. The beds were very comfortable and the aircon system worked well. We didn't hear any noise whatsoever from other rooms, so the rooms seem to be very well soundproofed. We were also able to buy tickets for Universal on-site, which were the same price as directly online.

All utensils at breakfast were non-biodegradable single-use plastic. Plastic glasses were also used along with plastic plates. Everything was discarded into a single bin. This disappointed me that there is no recycling or a move away from single-use plastics. I nearly felt guilty each morning discarding this amount of plastic.

My wife and I had to evacuate Tampa when it looked like Hurricane Ian was going to hit directly. We were one of many. Because so many people like us had to leave with their pets, the hotel was gracious and waived the mandatory pet fee given the circumstances. They even provided dog treats and puppy pads if the dog needed to go during the storm. We picked this place as it was a suite with a separated room, living room, and kitchenette so we could make our own meals and set up work stations. The staff was probably concerned about their own homes as the hurricane crossed the state, but they stayed on property and were very professional and helpful at all times. Just a shame this trip was for hurricane evacuation and not a more enjoyable park visit.

Could use another bellhop cart as there was only one and people would keep it and not return it. Maybe require something like a drivers license to check it out so people would have to bring it back in a timely manner (or you would at least know who had it and could go get it back).

The space was great and the king size bed was comfortable. The pool was nice.

The breakfast options were all unhealthy. There was no non dairy milk or creamer. When I asked about getting credits for my Hilton honors they said they don’t offer that when not booked directly with the hotel. I asked to have new shampoo and conditioner bottles be sent up to my room because I was with my sleeping child and nobody would bring it up to me. The bus left us at universal when our party got split up and we were 2 min away from the bus and the next bus wasn’t for another hour and 40 minutes. We Ubered back and saw the bus just sitting in the parking lot so it wouldn’t have been an inconvenience to wait 2 minutes.

The size of the room was perfect for our 5 person family. The breakfast was fantastic. The staff was very helpful and friendly, working hard to meet every need.

The only thing was something happened in our check in. We checked in, but somehow it did not register that we were checked in. We had to re check in and the price was a little higher. The staff worked hard to make it right. They were very diligent about making everything right during the stay.

We loved our stay at Homewood. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming - from those at the front desk to the cleaners, breakfast area staff and those we crossed paths with around the hotel. There were lots of options for breakfast with some variations day to day. The kitchenette in the room and BBQ area by the pool were so nice to be able to cook some meals and avoid eating out twice a day, for our weeklong stay. The pool was also a highlight - great temperature and lots of shaded areas around the pool. The social night on Wednesday was a nice surprise. Lots of snack food options and drinks available for free!

We were travelling with a baby so would have liked to see the garbage in our room changed daily when the beds and towels were refreshed. We tied them up and set them outside our room each afternoon/evening and they were picked up.

The staff were so friendly and helpful and always available. We loved the free shuttle to Universal and used it several times to save on expensive parking costs. Good range of hot/cold breakfast items available every morning meant we never got bored of breakfast. Nice quiet room (facing the basketball court) with lovely comfy beds and a hot powerful shower. Lots of free parking spaces. The free welcome drinks on Wednesday evening far exceeded our expectations. A fabulous spread of fresh food and help yourself to wine/beer was a nice surprise.

Too much single use plastic being used at breakfast and subsequently thrown in the bin. No need to wrap individual apples in cling film! Also it was sometimes hard to cut food up using plastic cutlery so metal would be better.

Room was comfortable , clean and spacious( units with separated bedroom, also truly w/c accessible handicap bathroom and kitchen) Sufficient linen and towels . We appreciated the full working fridge and studio kitchen, as we had to leave very early before downstairs breakfast. That give us a chance to have some healthy breakfast. Could it use a toaster though 😏.

downstairs breakfast was pretty basic… but great if you are traveling with children. The one thing I noted,… the drinkable water with the fruit was left all day sitting there. No ice in it or cups, by late afternoon. We were studying for a test, so we linger at the lobby until late. The water tasted bad. I had to throw it away. The staff changed the coffee for a fresh batch (thank you!).

The breakfast was almost everyday of my stay cold, and I will like to eat warm eggs, also de cleanning of the breakfast area, was noone during the morning, we need to clean everyhthing before and after.
