It’s just your average hotel. No frills nothing extra. But it was clean and it’s sooo close to the beach! We had a great Time there

We got to the Hotel at 1:30pm. Check in is at 3pm. We asked if we could leave our vehicle and walk to the beach until our room was ready at 3. They charged us $10 to park our truck because we were not considered a resident until we check in at 3!! WTH! U would have thought they would have atleast given us back our $10 when we checked in but no such luck! We thought that was a bit ridiculous, especially considering the price we paid for the room!!

Great location to enjoy the beach, food, and the city itself. The room had two queen beds and plenty of extra space. The staff was friendly and cleaned very well every day. The pool seemed small but was great as well. They cleaned the parking lot and everything. I watched them pull lamp shades out to clean after people checked out, very clean. Sometimes they are in the rooms cleaning so nobody would be at the desk, just look for their cart. Also I used booking.com.

Well worth the money. Is a little older but well taken care of.

I liked my room and I like how close this location was to the beach. The staff was nice. I didn't really interact with them much, nor did I get to enjoy the breakfast. My soulmate and I were content with our vacation stay.

I don't really have a complaint I guess it would have been nice to have another couch or another chair in the room. I would have liked better coffee selections and tea Selections in the room, perhaps the hotel could provide better curtains for the room. Have a sheer curtain for the room so when you open the main curtain everybody doesn't just see right through. I would have also like a tub plug in case I wanted to take a bath 🛁

The Renovation was nice. Room was spacious and easy to access from parking lot. The cleaning each day was not special. The bathroom had black hair strains on floor and in bathtub. Towel displays were nice. Bed was not remade properly. Covers pulled up and sheets not fresh. They advertised breakfast and coffee. My husband loves coffee and it was not available except for one day of a three day stay. Breakfast was was never served. (Go to Margie's on corner)! The statement for not having coffee was "We don't have enough occupancies! (Only three customer rooms occupied. ) We love the location! Salt Life resturant is wonderful. Thank you, Jack and Robin

Comfy beds, clean room, cute bathroom, my room right next to the pool! Loved it! Beach right across the street. Quite convenient. The advertised breakfast was not breakfast. Small cup of yogurt, store bought mini muffin, bag of oatmeal. The coffee was just horrible. Best to go to the restaurant down the street. Great place would stay again. Bring your own coffee pot.

"Breakfast " was not a breakfast consisted of a small cup of yogurt and a stale store bought muffin , undrinkable coffee, and an Individual envelope of oatmeal no hot H2O

Very close to the beach, near plenty of restaurants. The staff are friendly, and there is someone in the office 24 hours a day. Light breakfast is available every morning, and there is a washer and dryer for us to use as well. There is also a pool.

No microwave in our room and the refrigerator was not very cold so we had to think outside the box when it came to saving leftover food.

the location is phenomenal: directly across from the pier, beach, 24/7 Circle K, restaurants, The friendly owners, my room was clean, The outside of the building & pool area were clean, access to a coin operated washer/dryer.

the water smelled & felt weird, security of my room door, my rooms toilet kept overflowing & the shower water wasn’t draining well… it filled the tub; perhaps a sewer issue?

Peter was very personable and helpful. We were arriving after 9pm and he was at the desk waiting for us. Also decided to stay an extra night and he was able to keep us in the same room. Room was very clean too! Location was right across the street from beach access and St. John's Pier. 3 great restaurants within a 1-2 minute walk. Can't wait to go back for a longer stay!

No elevator to 2nd floor rooms so carrying our stuff up a flight of stairs was a workout

If you are travelling on a budget, this hotel is a great value. The location is superb. The beach is a short walk and there are great restaurants within walking distance. The lighthouse was a 5 minute drive from the hotel. My room was clean and updated. The staff was friendly and helpful during my stay. I will definitely stay here again. I do want to address the complimentary breakfast that a lot of reviewers commented on... I didn't stay here for the complimentary breakfast, so I didn't care at all that it was limited, but if that's something important to you, then you should know that it is just muffins and oatmeal.

The location is perfect

I assumed when it said coffee machine in the room that it was a actual machine. I brought my own coffee and everything because I knew hotel coffee is always very low quality. I couldn't make myself a good cup because the machine takes coffee tea bags?!?!?!?!. Not to mention that the "breakfast" offered is only yogurt, oatmeal or a muffin..... Most places at least have sausage biscuits or toast/bagels etc.
