Best Western St. Augustine Beach Inn

Fantastic Location to St Augustine Beach & St Augustine town. Staff were very friendly. Rooms were very clean & modern. Excellent Value for money. We stayed for one night to visit the St Augustine night of lights at Christmas and would book this hotel again. Also great that a free breakfast is included.

The only downside is if your property is on 1st floor, there is no elevator so if you have lots of or large suitcases, you have to carry these up the stairs which is a little inconvenient.

We liked the door to the outside ad proximity to the beach and restaurants. Also, that is was relatively quiet and of course did not have carpet. The hot breakfast, ice, and vending was convenient since we didn’t have a car. Pool was nice and clean.

Room was cramped and the floor was not sufficiently cleaned in the room. While the hard floor is perfect for beach there should probably be washable mats by front door to place shoes on. A sign indicating there was a sand shower in pool area would be helpful too. There was also not enough hooks and places to dry clothing.

We stayed in the King Suite with a balcony. and full kitchen and living room. Rooms were spacious beyond our expectations. Our grandson loved it! Very comfortable bed. Everything looked new and it was so clean. Large bathroom with nice towels. Virginia and Hana at front desk were fabulous! Free hot breakfast was great. Our grandson really liked the waffle maker. Beach is across the street. Restaurants within a couple blocks, including Cone Heads Ice Cream which also had nachos and hotdogs. Hamburger joint next door was excellent! Pool area is small but adequate. Free shuttle bus takes you to trolley station....big plus!

Small pool area was small and difficult to get in and out of pool and hot tub if you're older like me, 71 years old.

I was super impressed with the family suite on the 3rd floor! Not only was it the only room of its kind, but it was also huge! It had 2 full bedrooms and 1 full bathroom that was very clean and updated! There was a huge living room, office space, and a full kitchen. I will definitely stay here again on future visits and would highly recommend this room for a big family. We are a family of 6. The kid's bedroom had 2 full queens and our bedroom had a King bed. We have 2 boys and 2 girls. And we all loved it! Lots of room and a slight view of the ocean even from a block away! We stayed 2 nights there and the first night we stayed in a standard Double Queen room on the main floor. That room was also very clean, and the beds were comfy. The next day we had a full itinerary day planned and we were switching rooms (due to deciding to come to St. Augustine a day earlier than planned) to our original booking, the family suite. The front desk was very accommodating and let us store all of our luggage behind their desk! The hotel itself was a short walk from great restaurants including Salt Life, Ice-cream shops, Donut shops, and a cool quaint artsy little breakfast place called the Fueling Station.

Not much to complain about on this one, 10+! I loved the service and location. The people around were very friendly! I will be back here soon!

The hotel was very the check in was easy. The room was perfect for us, it was a king room very spacious ,the grounds was very clean . You had restaurants nearby, so if you didn't want to drive you could walk. The beach was a short walking distance from the hotel ,walk across the street (A1A) and the beach is straight ahead . The filing station is close to the hotel and they have good food burgers 🍔 was very good and pretty big,just a little too much salt for me on the fries. We also ate at salt life food shack,the food was very good. I would recommend going to the San Marcos castle a lot of history we thought it was great. The lighthouse was also interesting. Emily was full information and very enthusiastic about her career. Very good trip

Not much, I didn't like everyone was pleasant. I did go to the conch house for dinner, and it turned out to be the worst place I have ever been. order beer 🍺 and conch fritters, the fritters were hard, and I am still looking for the conch. Waited for almost 1 hour for food, decided to leave just paid for what we had , never got our food that we ordered.horrible waitress.

I liked location, pet friendly, like no carpet and room was clean. Close to beach and restaurants . Coffee was good.

Did not like the low toilet seat. Adjustable shower head would help with low shower water pressure.. Need broom in room to sweep out sand on bottom floor. Too small pet area since some pet owners notoriously do not clean up after their sometimes huge dogs forcing me to take mine to other grass. Maybe maintenence check area once a day to scoop/dispose as needed.

The atmosphere and the kindness from the staff, even the other guests at the hotel were very nice. The breakfast was good and fresh. The person who prepared it and brought it out was very nice. Loved the location, walking distance to the beach. We diffentley will be back in the near future. Keep up the good work Best Western St. Augustine Beach Inn!!!

Only issue we had was our card key gave us a little problem, few times had to have it reprogrammed, but overall we had a blast!!!

I liked the location, it was the prefect location to the beach. We just parked at our hotel and then walked one block and were on the beach. There were also several really good restaurants near by and gas stations.

The breakfast was really vague. The waffle maker did not get hot enough to work most of the mornings. The hot tub closed really early at night, so we were not able to sit and relax after our long days.

The room was clean and smelled fresh. It was well stocked and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was great, and the bathtub was big. It was nice that they offered breakfast, too.

The only frustrating thing about this place was the breakfast bar. It was well stocked, and they offer waffles, but the prep area is small, and gets crowded easily. I was impressed with the variety of foods, though

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean. The access to the beach was easy.

It would have been nice to have a table to eat at, play cards, etc, but I understand the room was just not big enough. The breakfast was good but we couldn't eat the eggs (the main dish) because it had cheese. It would be wonderful to have an option of eggs without cheese, for non-diary folks.
