Very well maintained 1950's old Florida motel on a beautiful lake. Very quiet and safe. Lovely sunsets. When the staff saw my husband is in a wheelchair, they up graded our room to one with a larger shower-at no extra charge. Seems family run, and they are invested in high standards. I am leary of "vintage" or "retro", but this really is the best of "retro'!

I forgot to ask for the wifi password, and needed more coffee, but the office closed around 5 and opened past my need for coffee. We had a number to call, but someone would have had to take time away to help. A minor inconvenience, but one to be aware of when checking in.

I liked the location as I was attending a meeting in Harmony Fl. The hotel is on the lake which is very nice. The hotel was super clean with all the modern attributes of multi channel TV, internet, hot shower, microwave etc.

The hotel was dated in it was probably built in the 50; or 60s. While maintained in an outstanding manner, it showed its age by have curtains that did not block the light very well, noise abatement was not super, and it was very plain. I find it hrd to complain as it is what it is and while an older motel, the managment did a great job of bringing it up to date and keeping it clean. Rated against a modern Holiday Inn, well it was maybe a 5, rated against its peers it was a 10.

This motel is older but is very well maintained. It's right on Alligator Lake with a long pier and plenty of boat slips. They also have a covered pavilion with several picnic tables. The views are unbelievable and, if you're looking for a relaxing spot to just hang out, this is a great option!

It is an older property, so don't expect all the amenities you would get in an upscale hotel. It could really use some updating but, as I said, the owners really do take a lot of pride in the property and it shows. The grounds are meticulously maintained and at night all of the trees are wrapped in lights. A very nice touch. Also, there really aren't any options in the area for dining out, so you'll have a little bit of a drive to find something.

Went on a 3 day fishing excursion with my son. Stayed for four nights and was very pleased. Rooms were simple and very clean. Beds were comfortable & air conditioning kept it nice & cool. It is located on a beautiful lake with gorgeous sunsets. Great place if your looking for a simple clean place with beautiful surroundings. Would definitely stay again!

The hotel was a little out of the town which we loved instead of all the people,traffic and noise but close enough to restaurants and most things you would want to do, the manager was so nice and she was very helpful, the lake it’s on is beautiful. the room was small but fine for the two of us and it was clean and nicely decorated shower was nice and warm has microwave,fridge and coffee pot we will definitely stay there again I didn’t want to leave 💕

Can’t think of anything we didn’t like the cafe was closed due to the pandemic but we knew that when we booked it

The room was very cozy, the living area was smaller than I thought. I think some shelves over the cooking area and a sink would be helpful. While we were there, the manager was having trees cut down so it was a little nosy. The manager was very apologetic and was willing to provide us with another room at no charge during the day because one of the guests worked nights. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer and hard working staff. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

The location was a little far out, but was acceptable. Motel was rustic with a nice view of the lake. Quiet. Clean room. Helpful and friendly staff.

Would prefer a king bed. Had no hot water on last night. Water press was low.

A classic motel, beautifully renovated with lovely grounds. A hidden gem with fantastic view of the lake from the tables and dock.

There was nothing not to like. Well, maybe if the resident cat had come over to me for a rub, but, cats are cats... The noise from a road was a bit loud, but not Lakeside's fault.

This is a vintage motel in a beautiful, peaceful location. The rooms are clean, well maintained, and comfortable. This is our 2nd stay, but won't be our last!

Awesome hospitality and customer service. First rate!

Hate that there was no breakfast. It was one of my personal criteria. Had to purchase breakfast items via local grocery store instead. Recommend the advertisement for breakfast be removed.
