The beds and pillows were so super comfy. Everything in general was great. The room could use an update, but sometimes I like the retro feel. It gives you the old school hotel vibe. Myself and my girlfriends were only there for an overnight. The location was great for where we needed to go. Really liked Ms. Barbara and Mr. Cleveland. They were the greatest for checking in and out. I will definitely return.

There was a little creepy crawly on the wall, but took it outside. Really being in the city you may have one or two. Other than that there was nothing wrong with the room at all. Everything was super clean.

No vending machine. My husband has diabetes and his sugar went low. Didn't pack snacks so I went looking for a vending machine. Had to go into the office and thank goodness I found some sugar stuff for him. But the lady at the front desk didn't seem interested in me bothering her watching her videos. She was short with talking and I told her to have a good night and she responded in a low tone yah. No smile, no greeting, no have a good night too or thank you.

the front desk staff on the 22nd of November in the afternoon - she is very rude we requested a late check out last night, they confirmed it and the next day after we went out to visit the museums, they got our room locked! we asked what happened, but no answers given, instead they rushed us to get our stuff out the room because there were cleaners coming, that was at 2pm, we requested a late check out at 4pm. I am baffled and I will not consider this hotel anymore.

Breakfast was good on Saturday and Sunday the girl was great she clipped place clean she kept everything stocked up but then when it came to Monday and Tuesday Monday especially wasn't clean ran out of stuff there was no eggs no sausage and they're definitely was no decaf in any coffee so Tuesday I told them I told the manager that night Monday night then Tuesday she was cleaning and that the different girl for Monday and Tuesday and no decaffeinated coffee again so I was very upset with that and the eggs I did not like whatsoever they weren't like they were on Saturday and Sunday they were scrambled and they did not taste good but I did let them manager know in the morning other than that my stay was good

Large bed, coffee-maker in the room, clean pool is on the property, breakfast is included. Friendly staff, it was easy to solve any issues or questions.

Definitely, in the nearest future a part of the property would need some renovation, same as area around buildings would need some cleaning. BUT, staff is doing utmost to make guests feel comfortable and enjoy their stay.

All the staff were nice and friendly,the room was comfortable and provided a mini fridge,microwave,and coffeemaker,nice toiletries and good parking.Yeah,I liked it!

The stairs and outdoor walkways could use a power wash,maybe new coat of paint,starting to look a bit dingy which doesn't reflect the nice rooms.

There was leaks in the main office,the AC in my room was very loud,toliet seat was broken and rooms weren't even cleaned when I called front desk and asked. Hotel needs to be updated bad. Everything seems very old and outdated.

Breakfast was quite good. All of the hotel staff were very nice, friendly and helpful.

Although the place was clean it just looks dated and worn. Carpeting in my room was very worn, almost to the threads. Bathroom faucet and shower fixtures needed replacing. Buildings could use some paint and a bit of spiffing up.

super location to all places drivable, siesta key, lido key, downtown, ringling museum nice quiet location although it's just off Rt 41

just small grips like: bath tub needs a plug & the grab & go breakfast could be better without aspartam, sodium benzoate, high fructose corn syrup, fruit salad from Thailand in Florida!! this is not nutrition! Americans wake up! These chemicals are neuro toxins & bad for your brain & body

We picked this place for the location and price - great location, low price. We aren't picky people and we just needed somewhere to stay close to Siesta Key at the last minute. The breakfast exceeded expectations based on other comments.

This is by no means a negative, but it was definitely a little worn and dated. We expected that, and it did not cause any issues during out stay.
