We have traveled a lot, and we've never stayed at Ritz-Carlton before, however, every person that has recommended us to stay at the Ritz always talk about how great the staff are and we were not disappointed. From the valet guys to the cleaning staff, just a 100/10. The room is spacious, and everything was immaculate. The pool was nice, but the water was HOT that it wasn't refreshing, but blame the scorching hot Florida weather. Pool drinks were good, and the staff was very attentive. I booked in advance a massage for my husband since we were celebrating our anniversary and the girl over the phone did tell us about that the actual spa area was in the process of remodeling so we really couldn't enjoy the full spa experience. No big deal. My husband loved the massage, and it was worth it.

No complaints. Great hotel and pleasant stay.

We checked in at 2;30 p.m. and staff behind counter said a room will be ready in a couple minutes and we could wait at the bar and she would bring our rooms keys to bar and took our bags. 90 minutes later at 4:00 we returned to the front desk and found she was gone, we had no keys, they then couldn't find our registration again and our bags with the written confirmations were now gone. This eventually got settled, and the rest of the trip was good, but that initial experience was inexcusable, especially for what we were paying to stay there. We live a 60 min drive away and will travel to town often and would like to stay here routinely but not if we were to encounter that check in experience again. Clean and friendly staf

At the beach umbrellas removed in the middle of the afternoon (bc wind but we’re not wind) and club house close the gates to early, just at sunset

After a few dismal hotel stays in the past few years, the Ritz in Sarasota renewed my love of travel! It was OUTSTANDING. Worth every penny!! From the easy shuttle to the elegant beach club to the 5 star food and drink on site to the amazingly happy and helpful staff at every turn, well, we’ll be returning!

The staff were very attentive. The property is beautiful and I love the beach club.

The room was loud with plumbing sounds. Every time someone flushed above us the toilet would gurgle.

Loved the club level benefits and glad we paid to upgrade our room. It was well worth it.

The spa staff were excellent I think the facilities could be upgraded.

Everything we need or want is on property. The service and hospitality is second to none.

The hotel is very clean and staff are wonderful

There is major construction happening right next to the hotel, so it can be noisy and loud if you are at the pool or on your balcony.

Breakfast Very good. Hospitality was warm and friendly and professional. Yeah that’s good.

Rooms were on the smaller than expected. . Missed having a stall shower.

Our floor was extremely loud with other guests and a squealing noise that seemed to be caused by the adjacent room’s water being turned on at 11pm.
