Loved the location and the distance to restaurants/bars.

The "private beach" wasn't so private. Too many people setting up their gigantic tents who clearly were NOT staying at the resort or they had friends staying there and they invited their friends, and friends...you get the picture. Glad I left the following day becuase by 8am they were setting up and I had enough. If you are going to say Private Beach at least patrol it. I was told by another person that the other areas that had private beaches did not put up w that nonsense.

I thoroughly enjoyed my vacation at the Captiva Beach Resort. The staff was extremely courteous and professional. The room/condo was spacious and comfortable. Its proximity to the Siesta Beach was outstanding, Its close proximity to Sarasota and its sights was amazing.

You should consider upgrading the couch. It was very uncomfortable and not very useful. I do not have anything else to add. Respondents should not have to meet a minimum number of characters or words. They also shoud have the ability to opt-out of answering certain questions.

The room was as expected for our length of stay. The kitchen was well furnished. We loved the outdoor area and the chairs and table outside our room. The location was perfect and the area was quiet. It was an easy walk to the beach. The staff was very accommodating and hard working.

The bed was not comfortable. It sank to the middle. If this could have been fixed it would have been just fine. The internet was hit or miss and very frustrating. Jack, the employee, did contact the cable company to have a look and he was very helpful.

Great location. Housekeeping staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Did not like that we had to rent beach chairs or go to the waters edge. Even though the hotel has open beach access, it appears to be a private beach and can only be used if renting chairs. The room was very small and did not have adequate space for suitcases and very limited drawer space for clothing. The room safe was broken.

Location was perfect! Close to beach and pool! The courtyard was perfect for my kids. For just a Mama and her boys, we felt safe. The community was great and we met some great people!! Was also able to walk to a few places or hop on the trolley to the village. We are already talking about another trip next year!!

The washer / dryer area could have been a bit better but I wasn’t doing a ton of laundry - just drying some stuff - so it wasn’t a huge deal.

Cleanliness, closeness to the beach and pool, fact that it was secluded and the outside area was perfectly catered to both adults and children.

There was not one single remark to be made! From the reception at our arrival to the friendliness at our departure!

The staff were very friendly. Loved the fact that the suite was spacious and had two bathrooms!! Normally, I'd love that the beach was so close (but the red tide put a damper on that) Because of the red tide, really appreciated that the pool had long hours and that it was well maintained

The room was very clean. I love the little kitchenette... The mattress I could say could be upgraded... Red tide was pretty strong so the trip to the beach one block away was a short stay... Definitely a wonderful stay in beautiful Sarasota. I felt very safe....

Mattress.. would be nice to have some creamers either in the office or in the room itself. Those powder creamers just don't get it.

the fact that it was really close to the beach but most important it was so clean that I tipped the lady that cleaned so really good because of that!! Bravo!! I didn’t expect to find such a really clean property and such welcoming staff!! the receptionist was with a smile in her face the whole time we were talking!

I absolutely loved the property and will book here again!!!

The location is absolutely perfect being close to fun restaurants and shops while also walking distance so crescent moon beach

Everything was clean and comfortable the only thing I would improve would be the AC needing to be a little stronger but being close to the ocean and subject to flooding I understand.
