I like that this location was "low-key" and had a cozy cottage feel with a sense of community. With just a dozen or so units in our enclave with a central common courtyard, it's not massive, overwhelming, and anonymous like so many big box resorts housing residents by the hundreds or thousands like ants in an ant hill. It's right on the beach access so with just a short jaunt, we're there! The property rules are clear and everyone abides by them (especially appreciated for quiet hours). The unit was clean and tidy. The grounds were well-manicured and maintained. The housekeeping staff is diligent and you can tell they work hard.

These are not dislikes, but suggestions: a little wagon with beach amenities to pull to the beach may be a consideration (I've had these at other beach stays elsewhere). A tiki bar for the resort community for walk-up bar service would be a consideration. The beach service agency is new to the property having started a few days before our arrival. They were eager, friendly, and attentive. I wish they had half-day rentals. Also, I wish they provided non-motorized watercraft rentals like kayaks and canoes. I also would appreciate the beach service posting daily conditions information: water conditions, red tide status, air/water temps, wind, and sunset time (usual stuff one typically sees on beach chalkboards).

I thought the sheets and bed were very comfortable. Thank you for providing high quality items for the bed.

Wish the hotel could have provided beach chairs and an umbrella for every room. $37 was costly for the rental in my opinion when you could only have them from 9:15am -4pm and we waited in a line at 9am for chairs, even with reserving them ahead of time. Each room should be provided with 2 chairs/1 umbrella in my opinion.

Bed was stated as a queen but seemed more like a full.

Everything was fine. It is well laid out and efficient.

Renting chairs at the beach. I am used to staying closer to the beach and the chairs have always been included. $32 for 2 chairs for the day is a big expense when you are there for a week or more. I also did not love the beach towels as they are very small.

The location of the room was extremely satisfactory. Very close to the beach, which is exactly what we wanted. Although the bathroom is quite small (and a bit dated, there was broken tiles and some rust showing in some spots), but yet very clean when we first entered that room. You could smell the cleanliness, and that is very important to us. The staff was absolutely fantastic. In particular we dealt with Brandy and I hope Tropical Beach acknowledges how wonderful she is and what an asset to your company. Thank you.

The bathroom very small, and the pillows were very soft. We had to pile them on, but it was fine.

The staff was so welcoming and friendly. The room was perfect and had everything we needed, including a full sized fridge. The location of the Resort is perfect! Steps to the beach and walking distance to many great restaurants, bars and shops.

Would love signage at the pools prohibiting saving lounge chairs. It's ridiculous that people can come out early in the morning, claim "their" chairs by placing a towel them and not come back to use them until the afternoon.

Just checking out: We've been staying 9 nights and would have loved to stay at least 9 more. There are two HEATED 😍 pools, a lot of outdoor lounging and BBQ areas. The room was comfortable and very clean. Kitchen had everything you would need. Huge compliments to the friendliest, kindest staff, especially the reception office.The resort is 2 walking minutes away from the whitest, softest beach. Bars and restaurants as well as a drugstore and market are within walking distance. If you are visiting Siesta Key, hop on the free trolley to explore the island. If Siesta, then Tropical Beach Resorts. Easy as that. Will come again.

Charming accommodations, old Florida feel with up to date niceties, lovely landscaped grounds, steps to the beach, great restaurants and bars a few minutes walk/drive away. Kitchenette had cutlery, pots and pans, dishes. Definitely recommend!

Two things: no blackout curtains in rooms - on vacation and like to enjoy a "sleep in", but it is difficult when light coming in at dawn. Second, the people in the room above were early risers. Walls are extremely thin. So, besides hearing their entire phone conversations and the tv, we listened to chairs being pulled in and out along the floor. We would love to return for another visit. I guess to avoid this issue we need to book a second floor room perhaps....

The whole resort is just amazing. The facilities, the room and the location couldn't be better. The beach is on the doorstep and there are great cafes, restaurants and bars within a short walking distance. The entire set-up is on point! I found the staff to be incredibly helpful and friendly. It is safe to say it definitely exceeded my expectations and I will be looking to book again very soon!

The only slight let-down for me was the sun lounger rental. I assumed resort guests would have free access to the private beach and the loungers would be included. However this is not enough of an issue for me to leave any negative reviews. I overcame this by laying my towel down on the sand just beyond the boundary of the private area.
