Sunset Inn Historic District St. - St. Augustine

New owner is eager to improve facilities and made stay enjoyable. Great location to visit historic sites and near good restaurants.

Lighting in bathroom could be improved. Bathroom is small but clean.

The staff was knowledgeable ,and had lots good advice on places to see

Not enough pillows for my taste, but they were happy to bring us more.

I would recommend this place if you are on a budget. The rooms are spacious and they have a microwave! Even some of the best western hotels don't have microwaves! People in St Augustine are in general really warm and that includes the managers at sunset inn. They were really welcoming and made sure that our stay was comfortable. They are making the most out of this inn and are improving it! I appreciate their hard work in keeping guests happy.

The staff was wonderful and humble! Staff just leased property and are taking care of the property little by little! Bed was super comfortable, great location, hot water in the shower was aweeesome! Great place to stay! Would stay again!

Underneath the bathroom window the window sill was really dirty, had to wipe it down myself. Other than that the room was sparkling clean. It would be also very nice if they fixed their swimming pool, they have it blocked off and no one is working on it that I saw.. Again, it, it was a great hotel and a great staff

The location is VERY CONVENIENT. Super close to fine dining, Historic St . Augustine, shopping, and all the historical sights. The Lovely family that owns the Sunset inn, are kind, and very accommodating. We wish then all the best.

The hotel is under a bit of Renovation but it was no Is hinderance to our stay.

The cleanliness. This is basic thing I like for when I stay overnight at a place. With the budget cost associated, there was nothing I can ask more. Clean bed, sheets, towels etc. No bugs at all.

There was nothing to not like for the price you pay. It is a basic clean friendly motel. The management is awesome.

Great location, close to everything. Either very short uber or 20 minute walk to St George street. The highlight was the very friendly staff who were accomadating and gave a easy/quick check in!

Older room, but clean and had everything we needed. Recommended if your focus is on attractions and just need a place to sleep.

The location to town was excellent. Owner was nice. The room was clean.

The lights were a little dim. The train going past was not fun.

Looks better on pictures, but had enough room for us and the price was right. The owner was very nice. I would stay there again.

Could use a little face lift.
