The location was great!! Within walking distance to downtown.

The floor in our room was dirty, but everything else was very clean.

Love the ice maker in the room and the back view was great. Pool and hot tube was great.

Right beside the railroad track so didn't sleep great because of that..

The hot tub And the fur pits with the outdoor couchs it's a great way to relax. Also the free Redbox it's their version but it's all the new movies you can watch with DVD players in the room and they're free

No breakfast it's definitely a con not a pro and the restaurant is way to expensive for the quality of the food

Beautiful clean room with a stunning view, loads to watch on TV, and a microwave and minifridge to heat up leftovers from the delicious hotel restaurant. The little 24hr shop near the reception was incredibly handy, especially when I needed to grab a some caffeine before heading to the Old Jail After Dark at midnight!

The restaurant staff seemed quite annoyed by how many customers didn't have a reservation. Seemed odd that paying guests of a hotel should be expected to book their table at the one hotel on the premises! We eventually got a table and the food was excellent though, so I can't complain about it much. Again, just an observation.

The front desk staff and the DeLeon Restaurant staff are genuinely wonderful people. The DeLeon's food is absolutely delicious with portions enough for two at reasonable prices. The room view of the marsh is a beautiful site. The room is exceptionally clean with a terrific room cleaning service. The location is perfect with the Welcome Center next door for a free shuttle ride to downtown St. Augustine for the cost of a Trolley ticket for the day to tour the historic district and learn the city's history along the way. I highly recommend The Ponce and would stay again. Thank you for making my stay welcoming.

There isn't anything I didn't like.

The room was very spacious, modern and clean with a tile floor. We had a room with a king size bed and a queen bed as well as two pull out chairs. The shower was tiled with two shower heads. The pool was nice with a hot tub and a lot of reclining chairs as well as a gas fire pit with exterior sofas. They had free mocha lattes and cookies from 3 to 6. We also enjoyed the restaurant and watching the sunset from the community deck.

Former reviews have complained about the train noise but if you have a room near the pool or facing the street then you don’t really hear it. I didn’t hear many trains go by, maybe two, while we were there. If you use the pull out chairs for extra sleeping, they are really too narrow for adults but might be fine for young children.

Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Liked the sitting area outside, so you could watch the sunset. Fun when the train passed, when we looked at the sunset!

It was a little smelly when you walked in to the room, otherwise it was good.

Room was clean. Parking lot was well lit. Bed was comfortable. Location was great, close to a lot of attractions. Pool was well maintained..

Room needed some paint touch ups. Hate all the little pillows so we brought out own pillows.

The room was clean and seemed like it had been recently updated.

The hotel itself wasn't as cool/historical as I'd envisioned, given its name. We were disappointed that there is no breakfast during the week, and a simple muffin or granola bar with a banana might have made us feel better about that. The room had no place to hang clothes to keep them from wrinkling. This had to be the brightest hotel room I've ever tried (the key word is "tried") to sleep in, and that's even comparing it to rooms on the Las Vegas strip. The parking lot lights are VERY bright, which is a good thing for security, but really bad if there are no room-darkening shades under the curtains to darken the room at night.

The property needs a separate ice machine on the second floor for easier ease of getting ice. Ice machine in room took a little bit to start making ice.
