Close to a wonderful white sand beach with clear, warm calm waters. We saw some great Fourth fireworks shows from the balcony, updated modern bathroom, lots of channels on TV and bed was comfortable.

Same choice for breakfast, no bread for toast, plastic plates & plastic silverware! Air conditioning was so noisy, couldn’t sleep didn’t fix it after 1st night, so couldn’t sleep again. Gave us 10,000 Marriott points, not even enough for one night. Front desk clerk named Chad was very unhelpful. Pool was very small and crowded. Coffee machine was outdated. Wine was sour at bar. Room was a bit dated except for the bathroom, but hardly any shelves or storage in there.

The front desk staff was friendly, professional, & went out of their way to accommodate our request to extend our stay in the exact same rooms we had. The Manager, Erica, personally took care of our extended reservation. The rooms were spacious & super clean. The hotel staff was so nice & would always greet us when our paths crossed. The location on Treasure Island is an ideal beach area on the Gulf of Mexico. The hotel has a bar, work out facilities, & a laundry room. But what makes this an awesome stay is the hotel staff, from the cleaning staff all the way up to the Managers. I have stayed at more expensive hotels in Treasure Island, & none come close to the value & pleasurable experience of staying at the Marriott Residence Inn.

The elevators are slow, but it's a minor inconvenience.

The room was exceptionally nice. It was done with a better grade of furnishings and very comfortable and spacious. We booked the one bedroom suite. Staff was very accommodating, the location was perfect, and I wish I could have stayed longer. Even though our suite was next to the elevators it was still quiet. We even had two balconies.

I wish the beach was more handicapped-accessible. There were a couple of steps up the ramp that leads out to the beach, which made it impossible for my husband to drive his handicapped-scooter there. Note: it would take a scooter with the more rugged wheels to navigate the sand if anyone was thinking about doing that.

The breakfast was very good. The staff at check-in and at the bar were friendly and accommodating. Everything spotlessly clean everywhere. Nice size room and clean. Enjoyed drink in the bar when we checked in, price was reasonable. Loved the sweets that were put out late afternoon.

Our room coffeemaker didn't work. The light under the microwave turned on by itself at night and woke us up. Every time a neighbor urinated we heard everything. We couldn't use our balcony in the evening because a neighbor was smoking a cigar and smoke wafted toward us. As we were leaving our room on the 5th floor to check out police were arresting someone on our floor which was concerning. Mattress too soft.

A lot of good things: location, beach, pool, and hot tub. The room had a good size and also we had a balcony, that's good, you can dry your clothes there but be aware of the strong winds. If you have a beach umbrella I would recommend asking for help from the beach attendant to drill a deep hole in the sand. Other things nearby: ice cream shop, mini-market, walkable John's Pass area (highly recommend visiting it), a gas station in 5min drive, dog beach is also on the same island part (7 min drive).

The parking fee of $20 was unexpected (Google maps info for this hotel mention it as "free"), and also you must know about the "Taylor's beach" services (i.e. everything on the beach is not free: cabanas/lounges).

The staff was very helpful and polite. My family and I had a great time. The location is excellent, close to the beach, and the pool is comfortable and nice. Process of checking in and out was easy and fast,

The rooms needed a bit cleaner, and some upgrades will be great. The breakfast was ok, but the coffee was not that good. It is pet friendly, but it has an extra cost of $150 plus tax. The back elevator is always busy but is normal due to the hotel's capacity.

Staff at front desk were all excellent and very concerned about the guest experience. The General Manager Erica was excellent and very helpful and also very guest oriented to give a great experience. Housekeeping did an excellent job in cleaning rooms ready for the guest. The facilities were excellent, close to the beach. The whole staff is very accommodating.

Elevators are bit slow. It would be nice to have better TV service,ie more and better channels. These were minor issues.

The outside of the hotel is nice, plenty of parking, and numerous entrances in order to get to your room and to the beach. The pool area was clean and plenty of seating available to include clean towels for guests to use. The breakfast was also good, sometimes food was not warm, but plenty to go around and workers were nice.

The rooms are not being serviced regularly so the maid carts were left at the end of the hallway where guest were grabbing their own supplies. This was an odd practice considering the price of the hotel.

The staff were always smiling and greeted us every morning. Everything was clean and nice. Our room was great and the breakfast was really good every morning. Highly recommend staying here, we always have a great stay when we stay at a Residence Inn.

The only downer was the poolside bar is closed. They closed it during COVID and didn't reopen. A very minor thing.

The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The rooms were immaculate and comfortable with two balconies overlooking the beach and gulf. Very well kept grounds and staff seemed to be always cleaning and making things shine.

Tiki bar by the pool was shut down during Covid and weren’t coming back as of now. That’s not even worth mentioning
