La Quinta by Wyndham USF (Near Busch Gardens)

I had the opportunity to interact with many of the staff. Everyone is super nice, friendly and kind. Breakfast is wonderful there! Bagels, English Muffins, toast and Belgium Waffles you make yourself! A wide variety of food, coffee, juices. Quite the spread. Room was very clean. Plenty of towels. Size of the room was comfy. We had a handicap equipped room and it has many perks that would assist a wheelchair including a lowered peephole. Plenty of parking. Location for my purposes was excellent.

Not a deal killer but the front doors are automatic and very slow to open. A few of the wall outlets in the room would not hold onto anything plugged in to it. Very loose. Just need to be updated. The shower controls to turn on the water, believe it or not were a bit difficult to figure out. We had a handicap equipped room so a lower lever also controlled the upper lever. Once you figure it out it was great but a bit frustrating before that moment.

The staff was very helpful for securing the additional days stay that we needed even though they were not obligated to do so, but I was pleasantly surprised that all involved with different positions at the hotel volunteered and multitasked and made it happen, with a compromise of changing rooms but wasn't an issue to get to be out of the hurricane and my elderly mother and pets safe. I didn't feel any unpleasant energy vibes at all personally and will revisit for sure.

Room can be a little bit cleaner in the hard to reach spots but still felt like good hygiene is the focus for the preparation of the room. Personally I'd keep from being barefoot, but that's just me, I understand the situation and still at the level of 'fair' to 'better than fair'. If I have to meantion a dislike.

The building appeared very old, but it looked well renovated. In general, I have a comfortable stay. Regarding the breakfast, many guests stayed and I could not find the seat at the lobby. Therefore, I brought my breakfast and ate it in my room. Coffee was always available for free. The staff doesn't clean the room without request. It was convenient for me. The front staff responded appropriately, although they were very busy.

I did not notice any problems. I wish the Wi Fi speed were faster. The front desk staff were too busy, and sometimes there was a line of several guests.

I thought the property was nice…from what I seen. I didn’t explore it. Location is great for the Moffitt Cancer Center!

The only real complaint is that there are washer and dryer on one floor. I was never able to do my laundry as they were in constant use for the 2 evenings I was there. My first room was great! The second room smelled of urine and fridge was broken…I didn’t mention it to staff…I was just too exhausted to bother as I had spent my days at the Moffitt Cancer center.

The beds were clean and comfortable, the bathroom spacious, nice sized fridge and microwave, and the breakfast was better than other hotels I've stayed at. They offered Belgium waffles that you can cook, yogurt, cereals, juices/milk/coffee/tea, bagels, pastries,and boiled eggs (although not the best). The staff was nice, but not necessarily friendly. They didn't smile or interact with you unless you had a question and then you answered and moved on. They weren't unfriendly or mean, but I like it when staff smile and ask if you're finding everything or need something.

I would stay here again in a heart beat. Besides the boiled eggs, there wasn't anything I didn't like.

Location to USF

They need to upgrade breakfast with more protein, eggs and meat. The continental breakfast was lacking, even if they served hard boiled eggs. Room 112 was in a hallway that was being renovated, would rather be in a better location and 203.00 was too much for that room, maybe because of the location.

The property was very clean and smelled fresh, nice big bath towels, beds were comfy and the ac worked great! The front desk staff was very Nice to , especially Amanda she is amazing. She went above and beyond for me and I really appreciated that

No problems!! The microwave was ancient, so that was pretty cool. The bed was cosy and there were sufficient towels. Everything works, as far as I could tell. The staff was very kind and helpful.

It’s old, but that’s not really a problem. I’m not that fussy. The door had issues closing and locking, but I got it. I was still able to get in and out.

Room was clean. Breakfast ok (bagged due to COVID). Dog walk area could have been bigger compared to the size of the motel and the fact that it is pet friendly. Couldn't walk my little dog in the area because people with larger dogs did not pick up after their dogs. Too much poop on the ground. We had very noisy neighbors, which we had to call the front desk around 1:00AM to quieten them down. Every night after that we just tolerated them. At least it was not 1:00 AM. There needs to be a "quiet time" after a certain hour. We will stay again!!

all the amenities such as the fitness and pool. rooms were clean and a good price for the location just needed at least a sofa in the room, i had 4 people in case wanted to sit also loved the bathroom was big
