Hagerman Valley Inn

Wonderful location. Very quiet at night. Still quiet when we left at 7am. Restaurant next door liked very popular and must be good, but we had already eaten. Arrived about 8:45 and the office was closed but there was a phone to call for assistance. Girl who answered was very friendly and was in the office almost instantly. Check in was fast efficient and very friendly. Room was very clean except the carpet. Towels very soft and bedding had some style, which was a nice surprise. Family owned, which we try to find when possible. Remodel in progress, but no sounds or inconvenience from the work.

The only thing that I would ding them for was the carpet. It was very dirty. We all noticed the next morning that our feet were black on the bottom.

After having car trouble and missing an already late check-in I understood I would be loosing 100% of the non-refundable reservation. I called the next morning, got no answer, and left a message requesting a partial refund. I did not hear anything back but later that afternoon the car was fixed and I thought we could make it the 400 miles to Hagerman so I asked if instead of a refund I could use the fee from the previous night. The staff surprised me with a "Yes, we can do that." The place was great! Staff friendly. Beds comfortable, Everything was clean and working great. I've been travelling from Colorado to Oregon for 20 years and the Valley Inn is now my "go to" hotel.

Comfortable bed, pillows. Room design. Clean towels, shampoo, conditioner and lotion provided. Bonus chocolate is nice! Microwave, Keurig machine with bonus coffee cups, refrigerator clean and working. Nice, quiet place.

Nobody at front desk when we arrived for check in and check out. You have to call the person from front desk to come in to give a key, in general he was nice. For check out you have a little nice vase with a note to drop your key there. It’s look like this room was used for customers with pet because a lot of pets hairs stick to my feet when I walked bare foot.

The room was very nice, beds were comfy, shower was great, clean room. Adequate space. Nice touch with the chocolate pieces. The staff very accommodating. Thank you, we enjoyed our stay.

Our only suggestion (we understand you are locked into a contract) but we spent a lot of time trying to figure out the TV. Finally what worked best was to unplug the TV and input box from the wall. Also, place the TV instructions with the remote instead of inside the nice information booklet.

The room was very large. I also appreciated the lights in the room. Oftentimes, motels will use low wattage lights to save expenses, Hagerman Valley did not. Hagerman Valley itself is a gem. There are several Hot Springs nearby. The Hagerman Fossil museum is unique The neighboring Snake River Grill is a great place to eat--especially if you like alligator (they serve it). For us, it also is a great base to explore the Magic Valley. Twin Falls is less than an hour away. Why pay double for a room near the freeway that has no character?

We stayed for two nights. We were disappointed our beds were not remade--but we have had similar problems at other motels. The simple fact is, many of them are short-staffed these days,

The staff was very friendly and we had no issues during our stay. The room was nice and cool for the hot summer day we were there. The beds were comfortable. The shower also had plenty of hot water!

The carpet was a little dirty, but it’s an older inn so to be expected. We did have some other guests out on the balcony and they were loud late into the night, but not anything to complain about.

The Inn is a short drive from Glenns Ferry, an Oregon Trail interpretive site. There was a small pool in the center of the complex, which families were enjoying. I thought it might be noisy because it was a busy time of year, but we were pleased that it was quiet. Having a refrigerator in the room was a plus, as we were traveling with a cooler.

The internet dropped frequently and was slow to load. The breakfast area was closed due to Covid restrictions, and the ice machine didn't work, although a staff person was able to get us some from the office. Our room had a table, but only one chair, so a second chair would have been helpful.

My husband and I were here for two nights. We loved the location of the hotel. Snake River Grill was next door--great food there! Also, it's conveniently located in town, so we enjoyed walking around in town. Our room was tastefully furnished--had a mini-frig, microwaver, coffee pot/coffee and bath amenities. Hagerman is a small town, friendly people, restaurants and bars. We visited several nearby attractions while we were there. Beautiful area!

No problems. There's no elevator, but there's only a few steps from the lobby that lead to the second floor. Our room was at the top of the second floor.

Easy to find. Expected very basic room. The room was larger than I expected with everything we needed. Loved that they allowed my pup to stay with me without a huge fee. Right next to a local restaurant. Very comfortable bed and stay.

The toilet fill was old and in need of repair. When flushed, it didn’t fill without taking the lid off and fiddling with it. Then it leaked enough that it continued to fill randomly throughout the night. It’s an easy fix.

The lady checking us in was so welcoming. We would have liked to sit in the upstairs patio area. But it was drizzling, it seemed so relaxing and would be a great place to see the stars. The room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable.
