I love that the cabins are made of whole logs., The decor was appropriate for the look and feel. I love the place.

I did not like that I could not drive up to my cabin to unload and load my things. I had to make two trips with a little wagon. I expect that at a hotel, but not when I pay for an individual cabin.

The cabins are big, clean and beautiful. They’re in the perfect location for visiting Yellowstone Park and West Yellowstone! Super friendly and helpful people at the front desk. The beds were really comfy! There are gas grills and picnic tables outside the cabins if you want to cook out. The kids liked walking around the area. Johnny Sacks’ Cabin is just up the (dirt) road a couple of miles. I wish we’d stayed two nights! It was perfect! P.S. The beds are Queens even though it says Double, I checked between the website and here and other reviews and decided the listing was wrong, so if you’re on the fence because of this our cabin did have 2 Queen beds. There is no breakfast at the cabins other than coffee, but I can heartily recommend Running Bear Pancake House in West Yellowstone if you’re headed that direction. You can also buy some ice at the front desk to save an extra trip to the gas station. Gas was way cheaper in West Yellowstone than anywhere in Island Park.

The only thing I can even remotely complain about is that the cabins are huge and there is a tiny couch but it doesn’t turn into a bed. There’s more than enough room for a 5th person or bunk bed for more people to stay in a cabin. I’d pay extra to fit a couple more people in one cabin or just to have extra sleeping space for teenagers who aren’t keen on sharing a bed.

We stayed in a large new cabin with plenty of room. Loveseat for seating. Small microwave and refrigerator In room. I liked that the shower had a removable shower head; most do not. As well as handicap grab bars for balance. Nice lobby with seating, TVs, books, etc. for socializing. (We didn't utilize, but were offered) Washing machines are available for $$. We brought our food/snacks for breakfast (not offered in motel) Family owned cabins, so we enjoy supporting small businesses

Our cabin had a high step to enter onto the porch. It would have been helpful to have a small step also as I had to hold onto the post to step up to the front door. Safety Hazzard. No coffee maker in the room, only coffee was in the lobby. 30 minutes from West Yellowstone, I thought it was closer... my fault for not checking the location better. ONLY a grocery store nearby, the single nearby restaurant closed at 3 pm. Plan on providing your own food or eating in other towns. Evening dining options are not close by

Good location. Very nicely decorated. Highway traffic was a little loud. Free coffee, but no breakfast. Quiet.

In room coffee makers would be great. Extra blankets. Outdoor fire pits would be nice or additional picnic tables.

Lots of space in the cabin. Worked out great for just the 2 of us. Perfect for our 5 nite stay. Beds and pillows were comfy. Free coffee in the lobby every morning. Loved the look and ambiance of the cabin. Much better than just another boring small hotel room.

Definitely needed more shelving and counter space in the bathroom. Would have liked a larger dining table. Needs some minor maintenance on log walls in the bathroom. More lighting options needed.

The breakfast was great and the staff was pleasant and helpful. The location was beautiful and very relaxing! My only complaint was the standard hotel pillows, but I'm a pillow snob. You couldn't hear anything outside once the door was closed. The cabin was spacious and VERY clean. We will definitely stay again.

It was absolutely perfect for my family of 4. Very clean and comfortable. Like home away from home.

Could have used a few chairs outside on the porch, or picnic table to enjoy outside. Some cabins had them and some didn't. Also some cabins had grills by them. That would have been nice also. We weren't aware until the last night when a fellow camper told us that you could just go grab one that wasn't in use. That would have been useful Information at check in.

The cabin village is a really nice place! We enjoyed staying there. The cabins are super clean (cleanest room I’ve seen so far in the US). The staff is really nice and helpful. If you need anything, they’ll try to make it happen. There is complimentary coffee and cacao available all day. They have laundry machines which do also a good job! We also enjoyed that you can’t drive to the cabin, this is giving you a quite and peaceful night. To bring your luggage to the cabin, they have small carts, which is absolutely nice. The walk from the parking to the furthest cabin is maximal 40 sec. I guess for Americans who are afraid of walking and used to get with the car everywhere it might be the toughest walk ever! The price for the cabin is a bit high but absolutely reasonable. If you pay 90$ for a shi**y and dirty motel in this country than the price for this cabin is still to low! I saw complaints about to less chairs or other things. I can tell you, that everything they list on their website is also available in the cabin. But the complaints are probably from the same people who are too lazy to walk. Reading and walking seems to be an effort. Keep up the good work Cabin Village!

Just a few ideas to improve the cabin: - Mini coffee or tea maker - Bins you can close

We stayed in cabin one for our first two nights. They have washers and dryers for $3 per load. The staff was very responsive to text messages. The room was very cute and spacious.

The sink water pressure wasn’t great and the shower wasn’t extremely hot. Both were bearable, but worth noting.
