We stayed here for 3 nights. Yellowstone Lodge met all of our needs, and the beds were extremely comfortable. I remember not wanting to leave the bed after a long the night before. The bathrooms are clean, and although they don't provide toiletries in the room, you can quickly walk down to the lobby and grab as much as you need. The staff is also cool and welcoming! The location is also one turn off the main street in West Yellowstone. Honestly, location doesn't matter too much if you're in West Yellowstone; it is a small town and you're already going to drive 30+ minutes to get into the park. Nevertheless, being situated close to the McDonald's was nice because it's one of the few places open late (if you want to stay in the park for sunset).

The breakfast is very mid; no hot foods. Expect cold hardboiled eggs, pastries, oatmeal, and fruit. Breakfast isn't a delight, but it'll get calories into your body.

We stayed here for a night while visiting Yellowstone National Park to see Old Faithful. We were permitted to check in right at three and drop our stuff off. This hotel is basically 1/2 mile from the park entrance (one turn, one red light, there you go). It wasn't a luxury hotel, but it met our basic needs. I hasten to add, however, that when this hotel is 3x the current price due to demand, I honestly do not think it is worth that particular cost (not that I blame the hotel for following sound business practices).

There was an absolute jerk where my mother (age 76) was trying to get a picture of the hotel and he was a rude prick, cutting it very close as if he wanted to hit us with his truck and looking like he's the cousin of the Unabomber. This was unique to my experience in Montana as everyone else was awesome. And I know this isn't the hotel's fault, but you asked so I'm telling you.

The reception staff were very nice and made me feel very cordial. I have lived in California for 11 years and have traveled a lot. This is the second time I have received a very warm reception. From her, she shows the true traditional American spirit and the feeling of treating others. This is in the East. , the west coast is invisible, thank you lady for giving me a new understanding of the outback.

There are few varieties of breakfast. Some paid food can be added to satisfy passengers.

The breakfast was convenient and what we needed before heading out for the day in the park. The staff were prompt and attentive making sure everything was refilled and available. The pool was a nice wind down spot after days outdoors, and the staff were really friendly and attentive. Within blocks of the west entrance to Yellowstone, so very convenient to visit many areas of the park. Very clean every day when we returned to our room!

A hot breakfast option (even one to heat up in the microwave) would be a nice addition. But we had no complaints, this place met all our needs, and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Location was very good, in a quiet area but an easy walk into the town centre. The room was a good size, with 2 Queen beds, a comfy chair and a desk chair. The bathroom was OK, with the usual soaps, etc and refills could be obtained in the lobby, and coffee, tea and cold drinks were always available in the Breakfast area. The staff were excellent, keeping cheerful and trying to help us see the best of the area despite the Park being entirely closed because of damage by flooding.

The price was very high for what one got. Breakfast was all cold eggs, pastries, yoghurts and so on: only toast or a prepacked waffle could be heated, no bacon, sausage scrambled egg, etc. Plain hot tea was not available, only flavoured teas. There was no kettle in the room, only a filter coffee maker, no ironing board and no hair dryer (until we asked for one). The TV channels were limited.

It was located right outside the west entrance to Yellowstone, which was very convenient. Housekeeping was great. The room was spacious, which was important since we were staying 4 days. The 2nd sink and big mirror outside the bathroom made it much easier to get ready.

Wish there were more gluten-free options for breakfast. At least they had boiled eggs though!

It’s close to the Yellowstone West Entrance. Very comfortable room. Very nice and helpful staff. Coffee all day long!

If I had one think it was breakfast which was mostly pastries and fruit. I wanted a real breakfast. I’d grab a couple of hard boiled eggs as we’d leave for the park and get a proper lunch on our return. That’s just me, as I don’t want all those carbs.

Pretty much everything. The room was large, comfortable and clean. The staff were welcoming and helpful, but laid-back rather than overbearing (if you've stayed in a lot of hotels you know what I mean). We actually felt so comfortable we extended our stay an extra night, and they were happy to allow us to stay in our room. There's also plenty of parking. West Yellowstone itself is a fun and engaging place to stay, even without the magic of Yellowstone Park. Highly recommended.

Can't think of anything.

Very comfortable, clean, nice pool (two strong jets in pool) and jacuzzi. There was good "continental" breakfast with a very attentive person who kept it stocked and was accommodating to requests. The breakfast area also had a nice seating area for the family to gather. The location was good for walking to town as well as accessing the west entrance of Yellowstone and the Island Park area.

Could have lit the fire place in the breakfast area to provide some ambience...though we never asked the employees to light it.

Perfect location just outside Yellowstone park, clean facilities, friendly staff, adequate breakfast. We appreciated their dog friendly policy and location near restaurants. We came in April and price was reasonable.

The mattress was softer than we like but we slept ok. We wish they had more breakfast choices like sausage and fresh waffles or scrambled eggs plus bagels.
