Nothing fancy, good location, clean rooms, easy/fast entrance, car park just near, working wifi, friendly stuff. Comfy bed, good quality room, fairly ok price and close to downtown for ~15-20$/taxi ride. You can take your coffee and spend some time at the exceptional entrance of the hotel in peace and start your day peacefully (it's just like that magical garden in the photos with a soft water sound).

Don't expect much from breakfast Had an irritating noise all night, I think it was a compressor from a fridge or ice machine but I don't know (room 200/202). Car park fee can be lower for hotel customers I think (25$/day)

Quiet comfortable rooms, could open windows at night, clean and good working shower. Breakfast sufficient and can be taken in the lovely outside garden (good coffee, had cinnamon bun, fresh banana and apple), for us perfect location in Boystown with all venues nearby, such as Wang's pre dinner drink and Wilde restaurant.

price should be more affordable. I paid 340 USD /night (stayed 5 nights) for a hotel which is not 4 stars. But I guess this is the new reality in the US !

Location location location! I absolutely adored the neighborhood, and because this was a small hotel without a pool, it was very quiet and peaceful. No parties, no kids, very relaxing. The breakfast was great each day, loved having a fridge and microwave in the room, TV was nearly the size of the bed!

little things in the room - the blinds not all closing together, the piece of glass enclosing the shower that felt not quite the right size. Did not detract from my stay at all.

Breakfast was more than enough to get your day going. Upon check in we were early and they happily held our bags. Location to all the LGBTQ bars and restaurant was so close to everything we wanted! The staff were nice as well.

In the middle of the night the thermostat malfunctioned- we reset it and went back to bed- but it turned to heat several times. When we let the front desk know- the maintenance engineer was there in two minutes and fixed it- it was fast and easy.

The room and accomodations were wonderful. It was very close to Wrigley Field. Very nice to be within walking distance of different restaurants and tourist attractions. Also, all of the staff was very kind and helpful. We will definitely visit again in the future.

The only down side to our visit was that parking was terrible. Took us about an hour for a parking spot to open so we could have a spot where we could actually open our doors to get in and out of our truck.

The convenience and the low key vibe

had to have the safe fixed and the phone I reported broken and no one came to fix that. Also they make up the rooms every other day and I was on my third day with no maid service so I had to report it downstairs and ask for extra towels etc. and to please make sure that the maid service would be there on the third day. And also sometimes later on at night when nobody’s at the desk and you have to ring the phone for assistance it was one night that I was ringing the phone for quite some time and banging on the door before somebody came around to let me in

Loved the location, the privacy, proximity to public transportation, and the check-in/check-out process. The breakfast offerings were lovely too. I appreciate the lack of fragrance in the linens; sometimes I have to change hotels if they use fragranced products, but I didn't have to give it a second thought. Fragrance-free makes it a win for me!

The breakfast room was really crowded and not so easy to navigate during a busy time.

Proximity to Wrigley Field without having to pay a lot per night along with the cheaper parking fee. Staff was great as well!!

Breakfast was good the first morning but the lady who was restocking the food threw the scrambled eggs away right after she made them and told my daughter not to eat them on the morning we were checking out. Not sure what happened but we didn’t get breakfast at the hotel before we left for home.

Breakfast was good; replenished and menu items changed daily. As well as; all staff was friendly enough and took pride in their hospitality.

To have a later check-out or availability to have an early check-in. This will aid in airport travels which take a toll on the family and make for long trips.

The size of the room. Location of hotel. Quaintness, felt homie. Loved the vines, trees, and patio seating out front. I appreciated receiving contact by email prior to arrival.

When a guest and staff member meet in the hall I would appreciate being acknowledged. Also housekeepers could be trained to always yield to the guest (ie mopping around them). Just a small thing but a customer service missed opportunity.
