The Chicago Hotel Collection Wrigleyville

The hotel is gorgeous, clean, very helpful and friendly staff, and great location: only minutes from bus stops and the train. The neighborhood has lots of shops, restaurants and of course the ball field. Although great location, it got very busy and noisy on Friday and Saturday nights with party-goers, but it didn't bother us or our sleeping. Chicago is super clean, a terrific "food-city" and lots to do and see! We LOVE Chicago, and just loved staying at this site especially!

The only thing really was the noise from the streets on Fri/Sat nights, but again, that didn't disturb our sleeping. Just wish there had been some type of noise-proof glass?? (That's a wish really, not a request :). )

Right in the heart of Wrigleyville, this was a great option that was found at the last minute. Great rooftop views and super clean and comfortable rooms.

There was an issue with obtaining our drinks as what we were promised was not delivered. There was nowhere to get ice or a place to keep our drinks cold. Staff-less site so communication was done through text but responses were slow when issues or questions were needed to be answered.

I didn't like the fact that there was nobody at the front desk

The vibe. The balcony. The rooms were very modern and hipster. The beds were comfortable, and a nice low height. Very clean. Great lighting. Quiet despite the bar downstairs.. Bucket of cold drinks brought to our room was a plus!

Trouble getting into the building when we arrived. No parking vouchers..Managed remotely, so finding a person to assist was difficult. Text responses weren't always answered promptly.

Clean room, clean bathroom, great location.

Check in process was a little stressful, but not unexpected based off reviews I read. It went smoothly, other than needing to send multiple texts to get the box code for the keys. After that everything was fine. I would suggest to others to stay on top of the texts several hours before you arrive. If you wait to text once you arrive, you will have to wait for a reply. Text messages are not answered immediately, which is slightly annoying when everything is digital. I personally had no issues with check in.

The room was very clean very nice they let us check in a little early. Housekeepers couldn't communicate with us but they did the best they could and I appreciate that.

Trying to check in with no staff there was horrible and they could not set us up with parking. It was very hard to understand them on where to park. The first time we got key cards they did not work. Check in did not go great.

The hotel was amazing! We loved the interior design of it all. It felt like an old building with high ceilings and the view was amazing. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was superb.

Checking in was really tough, the company I booked with added my middle name to my last so initially getting into the system to check in early was a process. Then there was a key code to get cards and an app we had to download that didn't even work. It seemed like a lot of hassle for a system that was confusing. I'm happy we started the process hours before or we would have been waiting outside of the hotel trying to get in.

Very close to Wrigley Field, restaurants & shops. Clean, safe hotel. Mobile key entry worked well. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Bed was comfortable and I slept on the bottom bunk. Really nice deck off our room.

I was quoted a rate of $608 from Booking which included a $29.95 resort fee. When I checked in, I was told there was an additional $41 amenity fee which included 3 drinks a day and use of a Peloton bike (which was not at this location). I ended up paying $649 instead of $608. Booking.com needs to disclose this going forward as I was taken by surprise that I had to pay more than I thought I was going to be charged.

Great location being right next to wrigley and very cute design. I also enjoyed the vintage and homey feel of the whole building. Everything was very clean and nicely put together.

The key boxes were a little sketchy honestly. I also didn’t like that there is no parking available for hotel guests. A mini fridge also would have been nice.

This hotel is definitely on my list to stay at again! It was so close to Wrigley which made walking to & from the field incredibly easy. The room was tidy & neat. We loved all of the outlets in our room! Even if we would have had two more people stay with us we all would have had plenty of outlets to charge our phones, etc. The attached terrace was so cute & a nice place to relax in between events. And the attached restaurant had great food, drinks, & atmosphere!

It was a little noisy at night, which is to be expected on a game night near Wrigley & with a bar/ restaurant attached to the building.
