The breakfast was amazing and dog friendly. The staff saw that my dog had fresh water even before we got our food. While the place creates a difficulty in trying to find a place for my dog to relieve herself, it is a city with a city atmosphere. I can’t say enough good things about having my family and my dog there. First class and the free meal is magnificent. My most humble thanks to the staff.

The only thing that could make it better would be to move the building to a rural location so that my dog would have an easy place to relive herself and also to drop the almost 100 degree temperatures. LOL.

Convenient location that was close to everything we were doing over the weekend. The best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. The gentleman at the omelet/waffle station was fantastic. Like a magician tending to multiple orders all the while having a great sense of humor. We had a king suite that was rather spacious. Plenty of room to relax. Two nicely sized flat screen TV’s. The best part of the room was the bathroom. The vanity had two sinks and plenty of countertop space. A nice deep soaking tub w/ shower and a separate walk in shower with a cool digital shower control. The pool are looked nice and refreshing. However we never got to take advantage of area. The fitness center had plenty of exercise equipment wand was well maintained. Also a nice looking guest laundry facility. There is a spacious parking garage behind the hotel that had an enclosed access ramp from the garage to the hotel. There is a small parking fee ( I believe it was $6.00 per night) for Monday-Thursday nights and complimentary on Friday-Saturday nights. All of the staff we had contact with were extremely friendly and helpful. The commons were spotless. Housekeeping was by request and limited availability on Saturday morning. Something we have gotten used to in the post pandemic world. We have already booked another stay for a long weekend in November, 2023.

They only thing I can think of, and it is minor and in no way a deal breaker is the parking validation system. When you enter the garage through the ally behind the hotel, you get a ticket at the gate that needs to be validated at the hotel front desk and something to keep in mind. Otherwise you will need to pay an additional fee to exit the garage. Like I said, it’s a minor thing.

The front desk staff was very friendly and informative. Breakfast was great & free!! The parking garage was easy to get in and out of & free! The hotel is beautiful, everything was clean, and well kept. Our room was clean, beds were comfortable.

Really nothing major or bad we didn’t like. The only thing was some of the halls were pretty wet from people coming from the pool, not sure what could be done. Didn’t effect our stay in the least bit though. Our room had 0 usb plug ins, that made charging our devices a little tricky, but we survived. (Most hotels have usb chargers so I didn’t bring the blocks, but if I would have had blocks it wouldn’t have been a problem 😁

Front desk staff were super helpful and friendly throughout our 2 night stay. Room was very clean, large and comfortable, with a sitting room/kitchen area, a bedroom and a large bathroom with a shower and bathtub. The shower had both a fixed head and a handheld, and with digital controls we could set the temperature exactly where we wanted it. Everything in the room was clean, and it was easy to get more coffee and towels for the room when we needed them. Breakfast in their restaurant was included and we could choose from a fairly standard hotel buffet, and also order omelets and other hot food (eggs, waffles) to order. Their house made salsa was very good. The hotel’s main attraction for us was that it was a short walking distance to several good restaurants, and we were there celebrating a special occasion. There is also a lovely park (Shaw Park) nearby that connects to one of the St. Louis Greenways.

Pool towels were rather small, but we could take more than one of them (it would have taken 3-4 to completely cover the lounge chair). We could not use either of the two safes in the room because one of them was locked open and the other one didn’t work. We did not report this, so they might have been able to fix it if we had. The shower was a bit odd - once it just stopped in the middle of my shower. I just turned off the digital controls and then turned them back on and it worked again just fine until the end of my shower. We did not report this either because it only happened once, and we were able to resolve it

Room was good, a bit smaller than I had expected for a 2-room suite, but with the Pullout sofa, it worked out ok. We loved the shower! Breakfast was phenomenal, also, and staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. Parking garage was good as well. The Hotel location was nearly perfect for us due to other areas we were going to visit. Staff was some of the most friendly and professional folks I've encountered in a very long time! KUDOS to them! Tarina was exceptionally helpful and kind!

The Pool & Arcade area wasn't as clean and didn't seem up to the same level as the rest of the hotel & fitness center. The laundry area was clean, but it would have been much nicer to have had a vending machine in there with the laundry detergent and dryer sheets, and a dollar bill changer would have been helpful also. The ice machine on our floor/wing wasn't working.

The staff was amazing! Our little kids were a little loud in the pool having so much fun and when we went to check out the staff asked us if we were the ones in the pool the night before. I answered yes expecting them to complain about them being rowdy but they just told us how nice it was to hear them enjoying themselves and how it made them so happy to see the kids having so much fun. The hotel was very nice and extremely clean but the staff was fantastic. So family friendly which isn't always easy to find!

Parking was convenient and easy access. Staff at front desk was so friendly. Also the maintenance man spoke to me and I had not engaged his services. The gentleman that helped us with our luggage was also friendly and spoke to me whenever I saw him. The gentleman that was handling the made to order omelets was a delight to listen to; I did not use his services but could hear him speaking with other customers!

A bar or restaurant open for happy hour would have been nice.

Definitely recommend this place and will be staying there again. Everything was above and beyond what we expected. Other hotels need to learn from this one about the meaning of free continental breakfast. This is the only place we have stayed that has had a legitimate hot buffet style breakfast. They also make fresh cooked waffles and omelets to order.

The only complaint I could possibly give is that the pool and game room areas could definitely use some updating. Other than that, they were completely functional.

The room was clean! The bathroom was very nice, and we were left two sets of soap and complementary toiletries to use! The room I booked had two queen beds, and it was spacious. The complimentary breakfast was decent. It had a good amount of options to choose from.

Our hallway had a strange, not so pleasant smell to it for some reason. Not sure if it was a plumbing issue, or if someone was smoking in that hallway/near our room. Our room smelled fine, it was just the hallway that was a little bit smelly.

We love the breakfast and the staff. It starts our day off with a smile and a full stomach. Parking is a little better now, but the entry via the alley was not available for the last few days of our stay as it looked like the arm was not working, so we had to turn around and go in on the other street.

We were in a different tower than we usually are, so the bathroom was a little outdated, showing wear & tear around the sink area. I also wish there was a full length mirror in the room.
