Best Western O'Hare/Elk Grove Hotel

Airport taxi was really convenient and the drivers were friendly. Check in and out was quick and easy. Breakfast was ok with various cold and hot options - eggs, potatoes, juice, cereals, muffins, bagels, etc. Room was really clean, comfortable and quiet. It was nice having an own coffee maker in the room.

The shower had no curtain, so showering meant getting the whole bathroom wet! Breakfast was accompanied by too much plastic and styrofoam - more ecofriendly options would be nice. It's not as close to the airport as I'd like, but only about 20 minutes drive (not bad for the price).

There is 1 electric hook up (pretty fast charge) and 2 Tesla-specific ones. They're about midway down the left side of the building. Front desk staff was extremely friendly.

The plumbing was rough; the toilet tank had a slow leak so would kick in and refill every few minutes. The shower also seemed 1-wrong-twist away from not being able to shut off at all. It was squealing so loud that the not-showering person couldn't hear the TV. But it was all clean and we made it through.

The location and the free shuttle bus from the airport was great. The driver was very entertaining and had us all laughing. The distance from chicago wasn't so good but we did a 16min walk to catch a bus and that was very easy from the bus we caught the blue line train into Chicago and it all went perfectly and was so cheap well worth doing

The room was nice, it was clean and the beds were very comfortable. I do have to mention that I had accidentally left my wallet out on the bed when we left and it was untouched. I am grateful for the honest housekeeping staff. They deserve kudos. The breakfast had a lot of variety. The eggs were delicious.

The room had two double beds but it was was small. The beds were never made and maid service seemed minimal. (Perhaps this is a COVID thing?) The area surrounding the hotel is a bit off-putting. The entrance is adjacent to an industrial plant and the road turns into a narrow gravel road. The parking lot is good and a great improvement to the road. First impressions are important and I’m afraid the drive in served as my first impression. That is unfortunate because it does not do justice to the hotel. Working with surrounding landowners to at least blacktop the end of the road would help.

The airport shuttle was very convenient and well organised, pick up was on demand and for airport transfer it can be booked in advance. The complementary breakfast was available early which is also very handy. The room and the rest of the hotel were clean.

Very nice hotel, well maintained. Staff is friendly and accommodating. A bit far from the airport, but the shuttle service was acceptable. Our driver offered to stop at a restaurants on the way to the hotel so we could grab take-out dinner. What a great service! Shuttle returns only to the airport at the top of the hour, so plan ahead. Breakfast, even limited by covid, was very nice compared to so many non-existent hot breakfasts at hotels now. If you request it, they bring out hot scrambled eggs and sausage. Decent selection of food during covid, and they require masks and plastic gloves of everyone who enters the breakfast serving area. Thank you for attention to health and safety. Hotel is near shopping centers and restaurants for easy access, but that also means some noise from the street, but our room was very quiet, comfortable, clean, and well maintained.

A bit far from the airport, but shuttle service was good, but you may have to wait up to an hour to get the shuttel from the airport to the hotel. We lucked into catching the shuttle as we walked out with our bags.

Good stay and what I expected going into it like your average 2.5 star hotel. The shuttle service worked out good for us to be picked up and dropped off. They room was clean and the king bed was soft but comfortable. The drive to the Airport was a little longer than I expected without traffic, at least 15 minutes, but I did my research to know that it is just an average hotel with an average breakfast, so it meet my expectations and value was good.

Very friendly and helpful staff - were able to help with requests such as late check out. Clean and pleasant room, great for a night close to airport. Staff really did make my stay, they were very accommodating, would stay again if needed an overnight for a flight.

Called for shuttle to pick up from airport and it never arrived.

The breakfast was terrific. There were many options and many choices of cold cereal, as well as oatmeal. I was very pleasantly surprised by the great breakfast. The shuttle from and to the airport was really useful. I liked the make-up remover sheet.

A light was burned out in the bathroom.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent for this class of hotel.

The hotel is farther from the airport than I expected, but the value was worth it. The airport shuttle was reliable.
