The room was spacious and worked well for us. The staff was very nice and helpful. It was very close to the Baha'i Temple and to other sites in Evanston. The breakfast was great.

When we went to check in, the clerk said that someone had already checked in. He kept telling me that we had already checked in, which clearly we hadn't. He finally called the room and had the person who was in our room move. He also said we hadn't paid yet, but I had the confirmation showing that it was all paid in full. He fixed it all, but it was unnerving. The chairs in the kitchen/dining room were terrible. The rolling one was down right dangerous and the two regular chairs were too high, making them difficult for handicapped people to get onto them. Also in the bathroom you need to have a small table next to the toilet for things like Depends and wipes. We had to turn the garbage can upside down and use that for a table.

I liked the big comfy beds and the wonderful hot showers.

Rooms could use more USB outlets. Also, when i was about to check out, I saw an employee behind the counter. She totally ignored me and never looked once at me. Finally a male concierge came out from an office behind the front desk and helped me. My suggestion would be Hyatt should tell their employees who happen to be behind the desk, to tell quests that someone will be there to help us shortly. That way we don't have to just stand there looking helpless. For all l know that woman who didn't help me was housekeeping. But still, she represents Hyatt and should have told me that someone would be there to help me, if she wasn't going to....

Great concept. In-town. Great location. Walking distance to everything. Spacious rooms. Plenty of workspace and common areas. Outdoor spaces too. Good breakfast. Bar in the evening.

It’s all good. BUT pricing was very volatile. Booked 4 nights at ~$200 per night. Wanted to add one more night. They wanted $375 for one night! And that was $175 more than any other hotel in town. Huh??

Breakfast was outstanding! Room was huge, comfortable, and quiet. we were close to the L and Metra so getting to anddfrom Cicago was a conch. close to the lake, Northwestern, and all of the delicious dining Evanston has to offer. Fantastic!

Valet parking was inefficient for us since we were traveling in a wheelchair accessible van and loading/unloading took longer than most. There was only one spot in front of the building designated for valet service.

The front staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff and cleaning crew was really great as well. We love the resident Bartender he made our Christmas enjoyable plus he can make a great old fashion! The rooms were simple but exactly what we needed with a kitchenette. The location was walkable to everything you need in town from good restaurants to shopping. The gym was large enough and had all the equipment needed

I wish the outdoor roof top was usable since it was a rise in covid it would have been good to access.

Facility was clean. Hot breakfast was above average and not typical for this grade of hotel. Young staff was friendly and accommodating. Property was clean and Covid precautions were in effect; I felt very safe.

The only complaint I have about this property is the cable package they use for in -room television. They have a really basic package that is mostly religious, rural-oriented, and shopping channels (VERY odd considering the demographics of the area) . There are no news channels or major network affiliates. They wound be better off dropping cable TV and just going with local broadcast TV where you can get some news and broader-based programming.

I really loved the layout of the room, the awesome little kitchenette and island, the shower and the hotel in general. Not busy but there on a Wednesday. We never eat breakfast but decided on a made to order omelet since it was available!

the only thing that could be improved (not even that big of a deal) was the lighting options in the room and no full length mirror.

The bed, pillows and couch (we stayed in a King Suite) were remarkably comfortable! My husband and I need a bed usually that has some back or neck raised and the beds and pillows were so comfortable we had no problems. The staff were FANTASTIC! Cannot praise them enough. The breakfast was very good, especially for an all-in-one price. The facilities were very nice and super close/easy to get to restaurants & coffee, etc. by foot. Super easy to get into downtown by Metro or Rideshare.

When we arrived, very late on a Saturday night, the room was ready but was not clean. The kitchen had not been thoroughly cleaned at all (food and crumbs on the counter, refrigerator was dirty) and the bathroom was not cleaned well at all. I had to wipe everything down again - and considering the COVID situation that was not encouraging. However, the staff was immediately responsive the next morning and swapped out our rooms. The only other thing was that the sheets and pillow cases in both rooms had permanent stains on them.

Very good selection - the oatmeal, was outstanding. Had some very poor ones in my week of travels.

Really did not like the bathroom mirror. Yes it is stylish but very poor for applying makeup.

Great property a few blocks from Northwestern University. Had an upgrade to a queen studio suite and it was fantastic. The room looked brand new and had a full kitchen with an island and a living room area. Lots lo restaurants and shops nearby.

I have nothing negative to say about the property.
