A good quality clean, efficient place to stay. It is probably some way from downtown but if you prefer quieter area then metro will take you there without much hassle. Its nice area with a nice little beach, yes a Lake Michigan beach only one street away - complete with a drinking water tap. There breakfast was very nice. It was not extensive but of very good quality and taste. A range of teas and coffee, hot chocolate is available in the lobby all the time. Staff were great, all of them. A lot of choice of shops not too far away.

There was nothing really other than the distance from city centre but as I said above it may not be a bad thing for some with only 20 to 25 minute train ride away.

Friendly staff, great location close to beach, Loyola, redline and express bus. Clean facilities, gym and breakfast included. We had a 12 day stay, it was nice that we could choose how often the room is serviced to reduce waste. Coffee and tea in the lobby is very nice to have.

Wifi was very inconsistent in the room we end up going downstairs in the lobby to have better WiFi but makes working inconvenient. Would like to make some suggestions on reducing plastic, all paper cups in the room were wrapped in plastic, all utensils for the breakfast were plastic sets wrapped in plastic, would be great to have reusable utensils instead of one time use ones.

The hotel was very clean, room was big and comfortable, and the tables at the lobby great for some games/cards with family at night. It was actually full of people playing on Saturday night, great family atmosphere! The hotel is very close to the “beach” and Loyola Station. Target, CVS just around the corner. There is complimentary coffee, tea and water all the time.

Although being close to the station, it is a little far away from downtown, The Magnificent Mile and the museums around grant park, so take this into consideration when planning your trip.

Clean, spacious and comfortable room with a nice bathroom and shower. Very friendly staff who helped me out when I needed assistance. Close to the red line, and many restaurant, fast food and coffee options nearby. Would stay again.

The breakfast was okay, not more. It had what you’d expect. Quite bad coffee though. The hotel is quite far north (from downtown). For me it was perfect since I needed to be in the area, but for touristy stuff it might be more of a hassle taking the 30-40 minute train ride each way.

I absolutely loved the Valet parking, Chicago is a HUGE city and parking is a complete nightmare. The $40USD valet parking was money well spent. We also enjoyed the rooftop terrace. Such a nice spot to just go and relax and take in some sights of the city or just enjoy the weather. Overall this was a great stay,a great hotel and amazing staff. They will go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. We stayed with our 3 kids and having a free breakfast included was an amazing added bonus as well.

I didn't like that breakfast was very busy. The staff do an amazing job but maybe they need more than one staff member replenishing the items to make things run more smoothly.

Everything was good- clean rooms and great breakfast. Just a bit expensive considering parking is not included. That was a shock since I had filtered hotels that included parking in the overall price. Looks like it was booking.com that showed this as having parking charges included. Ended up paying extra $40 a night for valet. Housekeeping was missed for a day but it was done the next day.

Perfect. Easy check in. Kind employees. Extremely clean building and room. Comfortable bed. Surprisingly delicious full continental breakfast. Later check out + ability to work from the lounge for a couple hours past checkout was useful. Hassle free. Just really welcoming and accommodating I've stayed at a lot of hotels, including one downtown at over double the price and this hotel was the best. I look forward to staying again next time I'm in that part of town or even downtown because the location is great, away from the busyness of downtown, but an easy and pleasant bus ride straight there, right along the coastline. Also red line train stop. Loved it. Thank you.

Everything was perfect.

Very good value considering prices downtown were more than treble, attended McCormick Place exhibition centre which was 20-25 min away by taxi. Overall saved in excess of £600 compared to downtown prices. Good size rooms, helpful staff, Breakfast included which was decent. Location is good, supermarkets, food outlets all with 5 min walk.

Need to provide water bottles rather than filling cups downstairs from dispenser and taking up Breakfast - Egg omelette had ham inside, was not labelled this way, only when asked was pointed out what is not suitable for vegetarian diet, labelling should be correct. Wifi was hit and miss

I loved they brought back breakfast. It was so nice to not have to worry about that part of our vacation. It would be helpful to have breakfast service until 11 am for those who may wake up later than usual on vacations.

We were very excited about using the rooftop terrace during our stay. The night we tried to use the rooftop terrace one of our nights, all of the lights were out and we were unable to spend time out there in the dark.

Visited daughter at Loyola - Chicago; it was like staying on campus; everything so close. Spacious, well-appointed rooms in a modern hotel close to the Red subway line. Many attractions, although the hotel offers no tours, have many places for lunch/dinner close by. Friendly staff, OK breakfast - Nice gym.

No fridge/microwave in rooms, poor snack selection as no restaurant, valet parking only (expensive), and no laundry service.... Not a deal killer.
