Loved the jacuzzi tub in our room! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. My husband says he could tell the breakfast was made with love. Nice selection of bagels, cereal, hard boiled eggs, hot eggs, biscuits and gravy (delicious), yogurt, orange juice, cranberry juice, milk, and a 24 hour coffee bar. Pool was nice, just small. We ended up spending more time in the room jacuzzi. Room was fairly large and bed was comfortable. We had plenty of towels available.

Bathroom was a little tight quarters, room was a bit dated but could see that it had been partly updated. Curtains had a rip, and wall decor was old. Don't feel that paying extra for a balcony was worth it unless you stay on top floor because ac unit from room balcony above drips water on you while you're sitting in the chairs.

Staff was nice. Breakfast was good. The location is great if you're planning on taking in the sights and visiting various places in Galena.

The pool was super dirty. We had to use the net ourselves to scoop out bugs etc. There were a couple of dead roaches near the hot tub...

Location was perfect. We wanted something in walking distance to Galena. 15 minute walk. Friendly staff!

Breakfast was just ok. Not bad though. We had to ask for more TP. Ours was almost empty and there was not an extra roll in our room. They brought it up right away.

The balcony made the room feel larger , and it was good to sit out in the fresh air . Even though it was on the main road it was not noisy.

Breakfast was very poor , there was no bread to make toast , the pancake mixture ran out , and there was no forks , no one was there to replenish.

Location was amazing and the balcony was fantastic. Staff was extremely friendly (gentlemen in his late 20s or early 30s maybe a little younger) and was super helpful.

Pillows and blankets in the room were not amazing. Both were a little thin and a little small.

BIG ROOM AND VERY COMFORTABLE BEDS. NICE PORCH OUT FRONT. LOVED THE CAR SERVICE TO GET TO MAIN ST AND BACK. BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD! LADY AT FRONT DESK WAS EXCEPTIONALLY FRIENDLY AND IMFORATIVE.

THE PRICE WAS ALITTLE HIGH FOR WHAT WE HAD, BUT IT WAS A LAST MINUTE BOOKING.

The room was very clean. The breakfast was good and the second day had a better variety of choices. The outside front area could have been cleaner. Discarded cigarettes could have been cleaned up.

My room had the decor of a log cabin, with cross sections of logs on the walls, rustic willow rockers and tables, and a rustic, 4-poster bed. I also had a small balcony where I could sit.

The view from the balcony was basically just the parking lot and highway. I could almost see the cemetery. It would be nice if there were a sidewalk or trail leading to downtown Galena, as it was fairly close, but walking was difficult. The 4-poster bed had beams between the posts, so I had to be careful not to bang my head on them. (I'm tall.)

I liked where it was located and our room was nice, it was very quiet too.

The bed was uncomfortable, I kept tossing and turning and my back hurt.
