I don't want to give the wrong impression. This was lovely, nostalgic (in a great way), super clean and comfortable, with very friendly staff. Check-in is at 3 pm, but I was attending a 4 pm wedding, and they bent over backwards to get my room cleaned for an early check-in so I could rest a bit and get ready. Nice TV, microwave, and mini-fridge, and parking at your door (first floor only!) Lots of food and gasoline available nearby. Good coffee in the morning. They appear to be full most nights. Great value and I would definitely stay again.

If you are sensitive to scents, the cleaning products/air freshener may bother you. I simply wore mask and was fine. Parking is at a premium. If you check in late, or return late (I returned at 1130 pm), there were no marked spaces left, so I created my own. When I got up at 630 am, the car in front of my room had left, so I moved my car. Bathroom lighting could be better of you are applying makeup. Bring a 10-foot cord to charge your phone if you want it by your bed. AC is loud, but I had cooled the room down while I was out, and just turned it off while I slept, and the temp stayed fine. No elevator, so request first floor, if needed.

This property was in an excellent location. It was very clean and comfortable. The office staff were so nice and really took pride in their Inn. I usually stay at the Hilton but needed something different. This gave me the change I needed. I was worried at first about safety but it is extremely safe and someone is in office 24hours. It had an old time vibe with a family atmosphere! I will definitely stay there again.

It is close to road so it can be noisy but with the air conditioner, I didn’t hear and thing and slept great.

Great property and location and staff were lovely and very helpful. Great WiFi in rooms. Constant hot water and air conditioning. 10 minute walk from train that takes you to city. Staff allowed us to stay in our room on departure day until evening for free!! Would definitely recommend this motel.

Everything was great about our stay.

Very well-furnished room with a large fridge and microwave, fun decor, plenty of seating inside and some seating outside on a balcony or patio. Staff was very helpful, solving problems quickly. Great location: noisy, but not at night and plenty of good places within walking distance. Morning coffee and donuts were really good.

Light-blocking curtains are badly needed. Noise and heavy smoking can bother a bit. Electrical outlets can be far from the bed and difficult to use, so bring a small extension cord or power strip.

It's a budget hotel motel however they rooms are nice. It's quiet and rooms each decorated differently with microwave medium size refrigerator. Great tvs with all premium channels. No extra charges. Price was key in selecting this hotel. Parking outside your door. Very safe and restaurants fast food places within walking. Close to hospital.dating so

No dislikes. It was a budget hote.

Here from Nebraska, I was recommend this place by a family member who had family stay here before. I stayed in 2 different rooms in 2 days because that's just how it happened, im a procrastinator 🤷 Rooms were cute , clean and the staff was beyond kind. I was greeted with a smile each time. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend, and if i came here to Oaklawn, this is where i would stay.

The service desk's attention was just amazing!!! Friendly, welcoming, and responsive. The bed was comfortable, and the space was clean and cozy. Really good to have a parking space for free.

We had no roof light and one of the wall connections was not working so we had to put my phone to charge on the other side of the room. The shower was hard to understand.

The location was good. Also that the room had a refrigerator and microwave. The bed was okay.

I was in room 22 but most of the lights in the room were not working. The light on the table by the bed did not work. Also the light on the wall by front door did not come on. One of the lights in the right lamp by mirror did not come on.

For an older hotel/motel is very nice, no its not the Ritz, what it is a nice place with a fair market price. Staff is nice and helpful, The new owner appears to be working hard to bring up the standard. I would stay there again.

The hotel is very well located, close to major stores and markets, several restaurants and 45 minutes from downtown Chicago. The room is spacious and has a microwave, fridge, desk and a good shower.

The room is clean, but don't go barefoot or in socks, as you will have to wash them later, as the floor is a little dirty. And the fridge was out of order, and it ended up freezing our items. Another point that was also strange, was that we were disturbed at approximately 09am, for maintenance services to be carried out in the room.
