Indian Mound Motel

It was very clean, fairly priced, perfect bed, quiet, and close to the highway.

The light in the bathroom is not over the sink so it makes shaving difficult. The control diverter for the tub/shower to turn on the shower is like nothing I've ever seen or used before and hope it's not the furure of of shower diverters. It's garbage.

Do not let the pictures on the website deter you from booking a room at Indian Mound Motel. Yes, it's off the beaten path BUT the comfort and the price of the room was EXCEPTIONAL! If you are attending the local raceway this is the motel to stay in. It's a must stay if all you need is a place to sleep for 1 or 2 nights. Give it a try, I promise you will not be disappointed.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

The room was very nice and quaint. I loved that the room had a microwave and a mini fridge. For the price and location, it was a great choice. The bed was comfortable. The TV had lots of channels. The shower and bathroom was all we needed for a couple nights. We stayed on two separate occasions two weekends in a row and even ended up with the same room!

There were a couple crickets in the bathroom. A few ants on the bathroom floor. Nothing to make me too worried.

Good location for exploring the mounds and enjoying good Mexican food. Nice and quiet. No riff-raff hanging about. Bus 18 runs regular up and down the road if you don't want to walk.

There was nothing negative to report on Indian Mound motel. I expected a rough neighborhood, but it was really laid back.

I did not have breakfast. Didn’t know there was was breakfast. I sleep in every time though.

The fridge in the room still had food from previous guests. Gross food. The TV remote would not work. Maybe move the Cable box so the remote can reach the sensor.

This was a spur-of-the-moment stop for my wife and I. When I booked for the price I did, I was pretty skeptical. We arrived at 2:30 am and the owner checked us in very quickly. The room was clean and easily accessible. We were there for 2 nights and if we ever drive through that area again, we will 100% stay here again!

What I liked most was the convenient location. I also like the cleanliness of the grounds & windows were so crystal clear. I loved the cleanliness & comfortability of the room. Very peaceful and quiet. Beautiful pricing! I'll definitely be back!☺️

What I didn't like is not booking a longer stay.☺️

Good place to stay for a couple of days also close to St. Louis.

The cleaning crew needs to make sure after cleaning that your door is closed. came back and found my door open with all my things in the room. Also there was crickets and flies in the room that need to get removed.

Coffee pot with pretty good coffee. Good size room, pleasantly styled. Comfy enough bed. Birds chirping from bird feeder

Floor was dirty and sticky. I wasn't sure about the safety of the location but ot ended up bei g fine. The TV from the other room came through right at my head when I was trying to sleep.

Its in a safe location if you dont get off the 64 exit has close access to 55 which is better than 64 access. Its close to Downtown STL. Beds are very comfortable. Needs some furniture upgrades but fine. Very clean

The drive from the exit to the motel is through East St. Louis. Passed several gentleman clubs and sketchy area. Doing remodeling mess next to my room.
