Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, quiet room.

The smell of the room (143) could've been better. It smelled of dirty socks and during my stay, occasionally, I can smell cigarette smoke coming from outside or another room. The location of the hotel is car dependent- you can walk to the Renaissance Hotel and get the Schaumburg free shuttle or use Uber/Lyft to get to shopping or restaurants.

Very comfy bed, a large room, and a very nice view of the pond.

Housekeeping could be better -- I found dirty socks in the coat closet and I had to make a request to receive a bar of soap and an unopened bottle of shampoo. The hotel is quite far from the center of Chicago. It takes almost two hours by public transportation, but if you have your car, it's only 30 minutes or so.

When I didn’t like the room the staff immediately moved us into a room that met my expectations. He was kind and very receptive to my concerns. His name was Andreas. Room was overall good. Bed was clean, nicely made and comfy.

I know all places are short staffed but the floors could have been vacuumed better and it may be time to upgrade the carpet. Also the beds were both terribly squeaky. Most if the night of you moved around it sounded like geese were in the room. That was the sound the squeaky beds made. It would be nice to have a tv listing handy. Guessing there isn’t one due to C19 😕. Also being able to have some coffee or light breakfast in the morning would have been great. No restaurant at this location again due to C19. That was a huge let down.

It was relatively nearby to where we wanted to go the next day. Definitely a plus with nearby shopping centers for emergencies. Staff was friendly and helped with unanswered questions.

There was nothing that I didn’t like about this property.

Good location close to work sites. Pleasant staff and comfy beds and accommodations

Under construction, looks like major renovations. Nothing to deter staying there, but property hasn't had advertised breakfast options since last year

If you stay in 218. The ice machine directly outside of your room will keep you up. They should sound proof or unplug at night. Also, this is garden Wyndham, so your view is the street or the street

The room was clean and warm when I checked in. It was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable.

For the price, u would think they would at least have some kind of complementary breakfast. At least free coffee and donuts for the guests.

Location and price were great!! The hotel isn’t brand new but the staff takes a good care of it. Nice and helpful staff

Some guests at the floor we stayed in were smoking marihuana and the whole alley started stinking. Let front desk know about this issue and unfortunately due to some regulations he basically told me that If we did not exactly know which room number was this smelt coming from it was very unlikely to confront these guests

Convenient to the mall.

There was a kid next to us that the parents weren't controlling. He or she was whining and crying until 12:00a.m. We couldn't sleep, and almost pounded on the walls. Very thin walls. We should have called the desk though. They weren't there the next night.

The room was very nice. The property was nicely kept. The room was clean.

Had a little issue with the check in process. The guy that checked me in wasn't very helpful. I asked the room charge be split between me and my friend. He was really dismissive. He told me to just figure it out between my friend and I. Didn't want to be bothered trying to figure out how to help. Not very good customer service. Bad first impression.
