I have stated at this property yearly since pre-pandemic. The rooms are clean. The lobby is inviting, and the amenities are good value for your dollar.

comparing last year to this year, the attention to detail is slipping. I changed rooms because of the smell. it had a distinct odor. The second room had a screw missing from a drawer so the handle would swing down. The staff would change the towels but not make the bed. Maybe this is a Baby Boomer thing, but it would be nice if the staff would put down their phones to talk to you. It feels a bit rude when a staff member answers your question while still looking at/focused on their phone.

Close to the location we were attending, very clean and tidy inside and out, the employees were nice and friendly, bathroom in room was spacious and loved the bottles of soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion.

Had a child above us that was stomping around early in the morning, bed was a bit too high to get into bed without jumping into it, wished i would have called to arrange a room close to the elevator so my husband didn't have to walk far to get to the room (will definitely remember for the next time) and the mattress of the sofa bed was disgusting

Very clean, nice size room. Breakfast is nice and has a several different options. Conveniently located right across from Walmart and several places to eat. Lobby has a lot of room with places for a good size group to have a round table discussion, or you can sit away from that and have a little table to yourself. Very affordable for what you receive in return.

There is a staff member there who just doesn't seem like she is too happy to be there. Probably not the person you would want to have working the position she is in. Aside from that, everyone else was very nice. I also found it difficult to navigate the TV at first, but got it figured out after messing with it for a bit.

The beds are always comfortable, the facilities are always well maintained, they have a decent breakfast, and I never have trouble finding anything and getting a good night's sleep. I also like the fact that it is centrally located to a lot of things in town.

There's an older woman that works the front desk during the day who isn't very friendly. I was leaving this morning and she didn't even make eye contact with me. She was also complaining to another co-worker about others on the staff and how much money she makes per hour, a day or two ago, in the dining area during breakfast. Not a good look. I also had a TV remote that didn't work in one of the rooms I stayed in.

The hotel seems to be new and is quite clean. The bathroom had the highest ceiling I have ever seen in a hotel. It was a 10 foot ceiling. The breakfast was ok, Cereal/oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, sausage links, waffles, boiled eggs, yogurt, juices, and coffee.

The beds were a little hard and the towels were thin and had some stains on them. The bathroom had a nice elevated bowl sink, but the water pressure from the faucet was very low. All in all it was a good place however as I have seen worse.

The staff was amazing especially the housekeeping crew. Very friendly & very accommodating! The facility was beautiful and the grounds very well taken care of! Location was great easy access to the highway, only 15 minutes or so from the Fair Grounds on the opposite side of the city.

Breakfast: Would’ve like to see some sort of scrambled eggs and low carb choices. They do have a warm breakfast options of waffles and biscuits and gravy with sausage (Bacon would be nice) However it was very well-maintained. The only con I can truly think of is that at times it appeared there was only one staff member working the front desk and the breakfast room during a busy breakfast shift, however they did an amazing job.

The place was well kept and the staff was friendly.

I was charged an extra fee for my pets when my reservation said they would stay free.

My friend and I liked everything, not a single complaint from either of us. Staff was really friendly and helpful with what few questions was asked by me. I'd definitely come back to this location for another visit. My friend also wanted to fold his bed up and take it with him, he said he had the absolute best sleep he's had in a long time on that bed. I do also think the bed I slept in was very comfortable also. 🙂

As mentioned above, there's no complaints to be made. Absolutely perfect stay.

Very comfortable bed. Lots of vanity space around the sink. Loved the walk-in shower and the oversized desk. Price was fairly reasonable compared with other area lodging.

This hotel has cleanliness and maintenance issues. The bedspread was stained and there was hair in the shower. The bathroom sink stopper had to be removed for the water to drain. This property continues the outdated practice of putting a decorative pillow on the bed. Guests tend to put these pillows on the floor and it’s very unsanitary to then set them on freshly laundered sheets. Almost all hotels have stopped doing this and this one should too. Due to these issues, we would not stay again.

I liked that the front desk person took into consideration if I had pets or kids before assigning me a room! I thought that was a great idea and well thought out and it worked well. Also, my room was nice and cold already upon my arrival which was also nice. I enjoyed the opportunity to open my window and enjoy the fresh air since it was cooler at night. The maid service was great, my towels were all refreshed and my room was tidied up for my stay over. I enjoyed the pool and that there were a few "floaties" already at the pool for our use. Breakfast was nice because of all of the options to have eggs, cereal, yogurt or waffles. I also enjoyed the option for juice or water. It would of been nice to maybe have the option of some fresh cut fruit to go with yogurt or maybe some granola. m The floor I was on was quiet at night and made it easy to relax and sleep. I also liked that I was right by the stairs and could get downstairs quickly. It was also great being close to the expressway which made it easier for getting around for my stay.

I wish there had been some vending machines on my floor so I didn't have to go downstairs to the front desk that was not very well stocked so I could get something to drink and/or a snack. My room was close to the nice machine and a housekeeping station and it di wake me up early Saturday morning hearing the housekeeping carts being rolled in and out and the sound of the ice machine was a bit loud. The elevator is HORRIBLY SLOW!!! It was much faster and easier to take the stairs than to wait on the elevator. I wished the pool had been a bit larger or that there were some other options such as a hot tub or small sauna, but I also understand that you are limited on space and have to appeal to many customers and have price constraints.
