Pasfield House Historic Mansion

Wow, where do I begin?? A true delight! An absolute vibe! My Gilmore Girl fantasy come true! The staff was communicative ahead of my arrival and went above and beyond to help me extend my stay. Molly and CJ are warm and accommodating, true hosts in every sense of the word. There are so many small, thoughtful touches throughout- handmade soap, pillow mist, mini bath bombs- as well as the palatial rooms that come with historical furniture, kitchenette, and the most gorgeous bathtub I’ve ever seen! I couldn’t stop taking photo shoots in the room. Cottage core dream!!

Nothing, really! It’s an old house so it’s a bit creaky and sounds travel easily but that’s to be expected.

The location was excellent as well as the comfort and cleanliness of the room. We felt like we were at home and going to bed! The little extra touches was really nice too! The jetted tub was also a welcome relief after a long day of travel. Molly was very nice and gave us a quick tour and history of the house. There was also information in our room of the history which was very interesting.

The only issue we had was the alarm clock went off at midnight! Woke us up and it was hard to go back to sleep. I have never had that happen and did not even think to check that before we went to bed. Also just a heads up the stairway to your room is very steep and would be hard for some to navigate.

When we travel we love to stay in a place that has history and, boy, does the Pasfield House have history! My favorite space in the house is the spacious front porch. I made myself a large coffee, grabbed the book that I have been reading, and spent a couple of hours enjoying the quiet, the sounds of the breeze in the trees, and for a little while was serenaded by the school marching band that was doing an early morning rehearsal on the football field nearby. It was PERFECT. Our room, The George, was large with a kitchenette that led to the large bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Molly, the owner of the home, warmly welcomed us upon our arrival and had some excellent advice for making our stay in Springfield even more enjoyable. We have stayed in many historic homes in a number of states and the Pasfield House is in our top three favorites. An added bonus: Boone's, a pub that has both indoor and outdoor seating with a pretty good menu, is an easy two minute stroll from the House.

One bit of caution: those who have mobility challenges may find that this is not room for them (The George). To take a shower one had to step into the large jacuzzi tub which could be difficult for some.

Very beautiful on the outside along with the inside. We would grab a cup of coffee and set on the front porch, very relaxing and beautiful space!

The place was simply spectacular. We loved our staying! The beautiful property, a cozy and a very well designed room along with the most attentive and nice hosts made our stay very memorable.

Molly was a very pleasant and accommodating host! The place is great! I had to go stay in Springfield for work. We are going to go back to Pasfield House just for fun next time!

this place has a lot of charm, the bed was so comfortable and I enjoyed a nice hot bath in the jacuzzi tub.

Fantastic place. If you are in Springfield this is the place to stay.

Only one queen bed in the room.

Molly went out of her way to make us feel at home. Excelent experience.
