We were in Springfield for a horse show at the State Fairgrounds and this hotel is ideally located for quickly and conveniently getting to and from the fairgrounds. Our room was comfortable, and the bed was luxurious!

Although our room was comfortable, it did have a slight odor to it. Also, the drain in the bathtub ran very slowly, leaving you standing in an inch or two of dirty water during your shower. And the bath fan was extremely noisy and ineffective. Finally, the corners of the bathroom floor needed some attention.

Easy to find, lots of parking available. Nice clean room. Comfortable beds.

Our toilet handle was not working properly and we had to take the top off the toilet and pull the handle from there to get it to flush. We let the front desk know upon check out so they are aware of the problem. However it was already like that when we checked in so I'm assuming the cleaning staff was already aware.

The breakfast was great. Scrambled eggs and sausages was a plus to have a hot meal. There was a large variety of foods to choose from besides the eggs and sausage. the room was very clean as well as the pool area. We were greeted when arriving and were treated with great respect and listened closely to see how they could help us. Our experience from beginning to end was wonderful.

The only thing that was a little difficult was only having a ladder to enter the pool. Stairs would have been much easier.

Best of all were the friendly and helpful staff! The towels were wonderfully thick and soft, the water pressure was great - with lots of hot water. I was thankful that the tub drained fast so I wasn't standing in "backed-up" water when I showered. And the bed had fresh, soft sheets and was very comfortable with excellent pillows. I also enjoyed the high quality (LG) television, and was pleased to see that HBO was available for viewing. Just wish I had more time to stay there to enjoy the quality experience.

My room was very clean, as expected, plus the room was relatively free of odor - likely thanks to the large air-purifier which was running at a high level when I arrived. However, the large black countertop that formed the tv stand and desk (opposite this room's only couch) showed a fairly obvious layer of dust - which likely deposited after the room was vacuumed. The tub's drain had a metal "stopper" which had to be manually raised to the open position. It took a bit of persistent tinkering with it to keep the plunger from slipping back to the closed (no water draining) position, but once I got it there it stayed open for the entire shower. Was surprised that the microwaved scrambled eggs actually tasted good!

Room was a nice size and the pool and outdoor area for sunning was great. Continental breakfast was wonderful and the woman serving was Exceptionally kind and helpful.

The pool had alittle dirt in the bottom,not horrible but visible and our bathroom had some dirty stuff under the counter like house keeping just didn't get under there,beds are pretty firm but not horrible. Front desk staff was the biggest downfall for me,they left me standing in line and were Not very personable At All.

Comfortable room, friendly staff, good breakfast. I enjoyed a little pond behind the hotel with a walking path around it. Great environment to stretch one’s legs, or sit on the outdoor patio. It also made a nice view from the room window.

Dehumidifier is a plus, but was a little loud. Fortunately it can be switched off.

Room was very clean and spacious. bed and pillows were comfortable. Shower was really nice and the tub was nice and plenty of room. I liked there was a sink outside of the bathroom and one in the bathroom Very clean hotel and delicious breakfast. Nice pool also. Staff was very friendly and helpful and check in was fast and easy. Great location with plenty of restaurants near by.

there was nothing we didn’t like

The location of the property worked out well for where my class was located. The breakfast was good and the attendant is always very friendly and helpful. Also when we checked in, originally our room was to be on the 2nd floor, the receptionist was very helpful in arranging a room for us on the first floor due to a problem with my knee. I really appreciate that she was able to move our room.

There were ants that showed up in our room the morning that we left,

Very friendly staff (they even let me use the gym after closing hours), the room (especially the bed) was clean and very comfortable, the gym was small but all right (it had enough so I could adjust my routine). I recommend this place if you intend to stay one night in Springfield

The staff was beyond exceptional and very helpful with our group! I was extremely pleased and impressed! Would recommend this location to anyone.

The only issue was location, getting to the hotel was a bit awkward/clunky, but the property itself was perfect in it's layout of parking as well as well lit at night.
