Great location. Downtown and within distance to so much, including 4 blocks from Lucas Oil Stadium. Super great rooms! Love the size. The bed was SO comfy. Nice view of the city as well. Very nice staff. Love the art work all over the hotel, even in the parking garage.

Unfortunately, one elevator was out and the other was a bit temperamental. That meant sometimes we rode the elevator, other times we explored the stairwell. Good thing we were only one level above the lobby. But, this was not a bad thing to me and doesn't take away from what I enjoyed. Stuff happens.

The best part of this hotel is the lobby. It is sun filled and art filled. We spent time down in the lobby during the day just to read. The room was a very large size and nicely designed. The black out blinds were very good at making the room truly dark. I would definitely stay here again.

Our room looked out to a parkade and we didn't get any sun. So we spent extra time going down to the lobby instead for leisure time. Our room viewed directly over a roof area. The hotel could have a door going out to this rooftop and added a high railing or cage for safely, but then could have had decking and chairs out there. That would have turned a second rate room into an awesome room with a deck. We also thought it was strange that they only had one hook to hang a towel and the bathroom didn't have a fan. Bring your own kettle if you need one as the room only has a Keirig. The hotel restaurant was okay, but not open in the morning so you have to go somewhere to get breakfast.

The location, decor and layout of the hotel is amazing.

The bartender at the hotel’s bar was incredibly slow and absentminded - not closing our tickets promptly, having to read recipes and slowly make cocktails. We asked if he could change the channel to the AFC championship and be basically said wait till he finished everyone’s drinks. The other man working in the bar to support stocking, food delivery etc was amazingly helpful and quick.

Loved the common area art, rugs, novelty, etc. The huge photo album was mesmerizing. Yolks was terrif. Parking was most convenient, but outrageously expensive. The location was perfect for us because we were attending wedding functions, including rehearsal dinner right across the street and the Sanctuary for the wedding. Wonderful place to stay, especially with Covid pricing!!!

My pet peeve in hotels is the lack of a dim night light. Also did not like the way the bed frame sticks out past the mattress; I was banging my legs all the time. There was only one bag stand. No USB ports. Yet, we enjoyed the room overall.

The Alexander is a pet-friendly hotel (we brought our dog with us, who quickly became the belle of the ball) in the Wholesale District with an exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The bartender was attentive without being intrusive and provided good suggestions when asked for recommendations. The room was comfortable and larger than expected. We got a later start sometimes because the bed was dangerously comfy!

The shower in our room leaked badly because the bottom of the shower door was not flush with the floor. The bathroom sink also backed up quickly and took a long time to drain. Also, while this is not the hotel's fault, there were very rowdy guests on our floor one night who whooped and ran up and down the hall until the wee hours of the morning. They ground potato chips into the floor, at great inconvenience to the housekeeping staff I'm sure. I'm pretty sure we visited Indy during prom season, so I figure the Alexander is a party hotel for high school seniors.

We like the location for Colts games. We were able to stay overnight and park while we enjoyed the football game. Nice breakfast spot really close!

Valet parking wasn't the best. There was a long line to check out. There wasn't any coffee left in the morning when we went to check out of the hotel.

Staff was beyond friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home after we had gotten married. They also gave us free breakfast and a couple of free drinks which was much more than we expected.

Not much we didn’t like. We did have to pay $35 to park in a garage for 1 night but it’s better than worrying about my car parked on the street. Everything else exceeded expectations.

Attendants at the front doors could be more attentive to arriving guests The two (2) doors one must navigate upon entering from parking garage are difficult to novigate, especially when carrying more than one piece of luggage. For a doorman to offer help once you have had to get through the two (2) doors loaded with luggage does not help Thermostat in room was difficult to use, even the engineer had some difficulty explaining when to use or not use the fan. Never did figure that out. Room was cold. Thermostat buttons did not respond to pushing. A few simple instructions would help. Could not get the remote to turn off the TV, so I pulled the electric plug. Assume batteries died.

A comfortable facilities with full of art pieces around the hotel. Staffs are friendly and willing to help you. I love the smell sense on welcome day in the room. The mood at Plat 99 in the late sunset was remarkable.

Since hotel could not arrange house keeping service due to covid 19 (I guess) then I would expect to experience this service to have a whole experiences there and confident to introduce this hotel to friends

The amazing staff especially the man who was on the desk when we arrived late.

If I could change anything it would be the carpet just inside the room as it smelt a bit musky.
