Red Roof Inn Richmond, IN

I stay at this hotel twice a year for recurring weekend events in a nearby town. Because my dogs must travel with me, the pet-friendly atmosphere suits me well as does the price. As is true at any budget hotel, amenities are few; however, my needs are met. The staff is always friendly and courteous, coffee is available in the lobby as well as the coffee maker in the room, wi-fi is available, and I have never found issues with cleanliness. And there is a good Mexican restaurant next door!

The hotel is undergoing some renovation, so we were relegated to the second floor, which my arthritic knees detested--no complaints about that, though. I think that housekeeping missed our room on Saturday but that's a minor issue--I empty my own wastebaskets at home!😁

Great staff! The room was clean, and the bathroom was great! Close to everything and the interstate. I appreciate this place a lot!

There isn't anything that I didn't like, but I like having a mini fridge and microwave. It is possible that there could be some in other room types, but I didn't ask. Traveling with a diabetic is tricky, but we had a cooler. I don't know if they will ever have the pool open again, but that would be amazing. If I need somewhere to stay again though, it will be there.

Clean and fresh. Air conditioning was epic in this hot weather. The front desk staff was exceptionally helpful, both the night and the morning shift. I really was happy about the exterior lighting at night. I felt that my car was in good view from the front of hotel which was a relief for such bright lights. Got a key to unclean/maybe occupied room 1st. No one was in the room when we unlocked and went in. Manager set us up with fresh clean, empty room. Ironically in 1980, I stopped in a Red Roof and we did walk in to a couple in bed, because we were given key to occupied room! Tho it's been decades, I wonder how many key mistakes have been made, and how many couples have been interrupted?.. can get ugly.

This was my second time staying at this hotel, and it's really a great deal. It's located right next a Meijer's and several restaurants. The room had a microwave and mini-fridge and plenty of space. I keep staying here because it's a nice hotel and an incredible value.

The bed was SUPER comfortable. The room was clean. Tv worked great. Air conditioner kept the room nice and cool. This motel provides the basics but a great deal for the money. Was really glad we were on the 1st level as there was not an elevator and my husband and I are in our 70's. Front desk at check in and check out were very friendly. I would stay here again.

Could have used a couple more towels, especially hand towels and wash clothes.

Convenient location for my travel destination and activities. Good value based upon expectations. Near a Meijers, a Speedway and several restaurants for continued travel on the Interstate. Had coffee available in the morning.

TV had no signal. Reported, when checking out, because it was crucial to my needs. Overall, the facility could use a refresh. The condition of the walls, ceiling and floor show signs of aging.

The girl that checked us in on Thursday afternoon greeted is with a big smile and was very pleasant. Check in was very quick. The rooms are good sized and up to date. Everything exceeded what I thought we would get for the price.

No real concerns - bath tub filled with back water the last night I stayed there. I didn't have a remodeled room and the facitities were nice, comfortable and agreeable for the price.

The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Tons of catv channels, and the room was fairly modern. I spent the same money for two rooms that I normally would for one. We had one cat, and he was allowed in for free!

The hallways, lobby and parking lot definitely needed swept. There was mold growing in one area of the hallway. Some light bulbs were missing from my room, and the sink was cracked. The entrance is odd.
