Motel 6-Richmond, IN

This Motel 6 was once a Lee's Inn Suites. The rooms are large and spacious, for reasonable prices. I was on assignment to empty a filthy warehouse and yet do my computer work in the evenings. The spacious room made the whole trip better, as I could roll my files and laptop and office supplies into and out of the room every day, with a fold-up rolling cart, and not be restricted by lack of bed top space or counter space. The unpleasant daily work was balanced with pleasant evening work in the clean, spacious room. I extended the trip from 3 weeks to 4 weeks, and then to 5 weeks, and got it all done!

They were having staffing problems, like everyone else in Indiana and Delaware, where I came from. I noticed that the management worked hard to organize the too few cleaning staff, so that the basics were covered. I thought they did well with a difficult situation.

Pet-friendly. All guests with pets stay at end of building. Near exit to the yard, which made it convenient for walking our dog. No carpet in rooms :) Refrigerator in room. No microwave, but there is one down the hall to use. Workout room. Laundry area. Great location to lots of restaurants, stores and parks. Room was exceptionally clean. Pool was nice. Outside area was clean. Very quiet hotel. We didn't hear any noise in our room. Other guests were very friendly. 50.00 deposit was by cc/dc, not cash like advertised. Very happy with our stay and will be back!

When they found out that we were in town for our Mother's funeral, they gave us a discount & were truly sorry for our loss. The room was clean & comfortable. Motel 6 will ALWAYS be our "Go To" place. Please do something special for them, they deserve it! Motel 6, Richmond, Indiana

The little refrigerator was very noisy & sounded like the compressor was going out.

I like this motel. We always stay when we are in town. Friendly, great rates through booking service, convenient location, feeling of safety/security, cleanliness, pool and spa tub.

I will have to say the bed I had was pretty bad. I could feel the springs and my quality of sleep was poor. I have neck and back issues and the bed exasperated that. Also the mold smell is getting worse. If this issue cannot be resolved I will have to choose another place to stay. I really prefer not to.

The price through booking.com was good, we was right next to pool, staff was excellent, wished us a happy anniversary as we celebrated our 20th anniversary over the weekend.

Room was not extremely clean and we could not get the heat regulated very well, one bed was much softer than the other. Would have been nice to have had extra soap and maybe some shampoo in the room

. It's a simple, nice motel. Clean, courteous, reasonably priced. It's where we always stay when we come in town.

I saw a few people that were there before that I believe must be long term stays. They were fine but my concern is when you start letting locals live in a motel??? I don't want it to become like red roof inn. You could not pay me to stay there and it USE to be a decent place.

the location was perfect, right off the interstate. the place was clean and nice. the bed was very comfortable. it was also exceptionally quiet. we all slept great and we’re able to find several options in the immediate vicinity for food. the woman when we checked in was very helpful and friendly and couldn’t have been more welcoming. the morning staff were also cheerful and friendly. this is the perfect place to stop when you just need an inexpensive good nights rest in the middle of your travels.

I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of this Motel 6. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were fine, the room was big, and the location was very convenient. There is no carpet in the room, but that was perfectly ok with me.

I didn't encounter a single pleasant staff worker. The room could definitely use more lighting. The lobby area has a very strong, off-putting odor.

The room was comfortable. We loved the pool. Water was perfect temperature, and we had it all to ourselves for the 2.5 hours we spent in it.

Elevator not working, so had to use stairs. Not really a problem for us, but our legs were feeling it by the end of the day.

Price, location, cleanliness, the mattresses we very clean.

I didn't like that the "blanket was just a sheet on top of a sheet. So it was just two top sheets. Too thin, and was miserably cold because I had the ac on. So it was my fault for having it on, but I've stayed at this particular motel several times since I travel from ct to ok and back often. I will stay again
