met our expectations for the one night stay

very hard to find the entrance that sounds ridiculous but this is a fact the entrance is not marked well and the property is located between two restaurant and bars that have valet parking right where the parking for check in is located. that is very awkward with valet parking competing with hotel arrivals not convenient and no one from the hotel is too concerned about this if you call for assistance there is no assistance. the front desk staff appeared unhappy to be on hand perhaps they were short handed and stressed it certainly seemed that way. actually this was almost a self service experience just picked up keys that was it.

Excellent location, nicely decorated, wonderful sushi place just downstairs and a cute cafe across the street. Pretty sunrise from the top floor. Staff was friendly and helpful

Not very clean. We stepped out of the elevator and there was a used q-tip on the ground. Bed spread had a strain

parking can be kind of a hassle but the room was very comfortable. They didn’t have room service but had snacks in the lobby you could buy and add to your room tab and get food delivered from DoorDash so it all worked out fine. I really appreciate is the fact that they are pet friendly.

The location was absolutely perfect. Right in the center of all the things that we wanted to do. We love staying at these hotels, so quaint and accessible.

The gym was absolutely disgusting. It look like it hadn’t been cleaned in two months. Sweat stains everywhere, there was trash and litter, the cardio equipment has sweat all over it and the gym looked like a disaster. Fingerprints and hand stains over the glass and glass doors as well. I really wanted to get a workout in but I was too disgusted to go back into the gym. Really disappointing. First time I’ve ever seen this at an Aloft Hotel.

we love the pool table and other games, the food bar, rooftop balcony, and this location for the nearby parks and dining

The toilet wasn’t secured, every time you sat down it would rock, and we couldn’t figure out how to turn on the light in the shower

Location and cleanliness were key for us. We had been driving for 8 hours and needed a place to relax. The location and ammentities made this very easy.

I just had trouble getting a hair dryer sent to my room. It took several requests.

Beautiful scenery and the nicest hotel employees ever. I’ve stayed at every hotel in Overland Park and they all have at least one mean or rude employees that dream at me terrible. A loft is the most nicest hotel in Kansas City. My dads friend from Malibu ca used to only stay at the a loft when he was in town snd now I know why the level of service they provide is unmatched abd the classiness can’t be overlooked

The girl who registered us was very pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable. The manager at 801 Chophouse next door was wonderful.

The parking is an issue. There is a valet just outside the hotel but does not valet for the hotel. You can park and unload but then you need to go park a few blocks away. It's a very upscale neighborhood so we weren't concerned, but we were tired from traveling and were hoping not to have to deal with that.

Location was excellent. Close to Menorah Memorial Hospital and healthy grocery stores. Sushi bar attached was fantastic!

I was trying to turn the light on a pics the bed. It was dark and I forgot the switch was on the wall. I rubbed my hand on top to find a switch and it was full of dust. Not too fun.
