DoubleTree by Hilton Wichita Airport

We were in town for a concert that was sold out. The women working the front desk helped us arrange a shuttle to the concert as well as to get picked up. The hotel was quiet and comfortable. Check in and check out were both very quit. I would recommend this hotel to our friends and will use it again when we travel back to Wichita

The trash cans in the room are very small. I felt bad leaving trash around our room as it would not fit into the trash can.

The restaurant served marvellous food. The gym was OK. Remember they do count the weights in pounds, not kg. 😉 The small coffee brewer at the room made good smelling and tasting coffee and this made me happy. The fridge at room was a good facality. The shuttle was good service. Thank you!

There was no good possibility to take a walk in the neighbourhood. I had forgotten my swim suite.

The room and hotel were very nice. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was beautiful and very clean. The ice machine on the 2nd floor didn't work but they were good about taking my call to report it. There was a loud whistling sound like wind coming from somewhere but once I got used to it I was able to sleep with it as white noise.

Staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent. The location is perfect as it’s about 2 minutes from airport. Surprisingly quiet for being right at the airport.

We had 2 rooms. One was very clean but the other one wasn’t. Every surface was dusty. My other complaint wea the bed wasn’t very comfortable for someone with back pain hip issues

Overall the hotel was very good. Staff was very good.

Size of the room wasn't very good. And I gotta say the food from the restaurant was expensive and not very good at all. Didn't even eat most of it. Even our waitress asked if we where sure that we where done cause there was so much wasted.

I was charged TWICE for my visit! Both charges went through my bank. The goofy guy that worked overnight refused to look up my reservations and said he was soft charging my card for amenities and charged it $150 after i just paid $132!

The morning employee stated "I have NO idea why he charged you AGAIN when it clearly shows you've paid for your room! So he charged my card another $150 that cleared my bank!!! i still have NOT gotten a refund!

I like the size and layout of the rooms.

Microwaves in the rooms would be nice. There is one microwave in the lobby for all guests to use. But there are safes in every room. That really should be the other way around.

The front desk staff was welcoming and accommodating. When our Treat Yourself Amenities pack was not in the room they responded promptly. Even though it was 9:45 PM the restaurant graciously prepared our room service order quickly and with a friendly attitude.

Excellent service, nice rooms. Very helpful staff.

Parking lot needs some attention, clean up and repair. But our stay was great. I won’t hesitate to book another night there when we are in the area.
