The front desk attendant was very welcoming. I did not get his name, but he called me by name the next time he saw me. I really liked that. The game room, gym, location, safety, and quietness, cleanliness were very nice during my stay. There were plenty of grocery stores nearby. Kroger is right across the street with a gas station. Sam's Club is next door, and Walmart is less than a mile away. I'll stay here every time I visit Bowling Green from now on. The A/C worked great as well.

The shower water pressure was too strong and it felt like needles piercing my skin. The toilet lost flushing power and stopped up on my 4th day. Other than that, I highly recommend Candlewood in Bowling Green, KY. It is the best Candlewood Suites that I've stayed at in years.

The room was clean and well maintained, it smelled clean as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was accessible yet quite.

The staff was incredibly friendly but there did not seem to be much communication between departments (front desk and cleaning staff) as we were originally checked into a room that had not been cleaned yet. Also, I didn't know if there was breakfast or not. If it was offered, maybe the front desk staff should have mentioned that.

The free soaps, shampoo, and conditioner were all bottles of Dove! I was very pleasantly surprised - I hate the hotel bar soaps. Breakfast had a turkey sausage option which was perfect for someone wanting healthy options. All staff we encountered were very kind and helpful.

No breakfast; a “store” off the lobby was well-stocked. But we went out and brought food back to the room.

We needed at least one towel rack in the bathroom. (We happened to get a special needs room, which was fine.) [Being there for one night, we didn’t use the “kitchenette” except for the refrigerator.]

This hotel is very easy and close to get to from the highway. The people we very nice we stayed two different weekends and we arrived late both times. I like the hotels security measures also we booked four rooms and the were very good about putting us together.

Your lending library. It was a nice little perk.

The display of attraction brochures were a little hard to find. I was expecting them to be in the lobby or the entry between the doors. We we were at a family reunion and we were wondering what to go see

They don't serve breakfast at this hotel.

They have a room where you can buy snacks and drinks. Would have been nice if they had had some adult beverage choices. Coffee was free there, and there was coffee in the room too.

Free coffee was good. Beds and pillows were comfy. Kitchenette was adequate for my needs. Very friendly and helpful staff members.

Would have prefered automatic daily servicing for towels instead of having to trade them out ourselves. Disposal didnt work and stunk a little bit. Heater/AC system was pretty loud and so was the icemaker in the room. I still slept through it most of the time though.

The bedding, furniture and storage areas in the suite were nicer than other places I have stayed. It was a quite place, too. The sheets were very nice. The staff was exceptional!

The pool was indoor and, to be honest, the paint color on the walls of the pool area reflected an unnatural color on the water that gave it a lake-lake sandy- greenish color. I couldn’t talk myself into getting in it. I only saw one family in the pool in a 3 night weekend stay. It may have been clean, but it looked funky. The pool was the only disappointment I had.

Staff was so friendly and accommodating. Kentucky is the friendliest state, my opinion. Laundry was free. Room was comfortable and clean. The convenience shop was well stocked and not over priced. Pool was clean and not over shocked. Had a dvd player, which is great for my kids. It was a great hotel...we will be looking up Candlewoods on other vacations for sure!!!

I wish they had tissues in the room. Literally the only thing I could think of. Everything was so great.
