Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Older hotel with cosmetic updates. Had to ask for lotion as bottle in room was used-gave me two :) Breakfast was fine, standard hotel fare. (cereal, fruit, eggs, sausage, pastry, waffles, juice)

Only thing i didn't care for and it's just a personal preference, were the darkly painted walls in the room. They show all scratches and make the room really dark at night. (for some that may be what they want, i just prefer lighter colors)

The hotel looks nice and modern. Staff is friendly and helpful The beds are very comfortable Breakfast included even though I didn't use it. Pool but already closed for the season Fitness center Cracker Barrel next door and the Waffel house a block down the road. Easily in waling distance.

My room was facing I65 and that was pretty noisy. The windows do not block the sound. I slept well though but if you are noise sensitive this might be something for you to consider. Ask for a room facing the other side. Internet seemed pretty slow (for streaming movies) but otherwise adequate.

It was very clean, the staff was attentive, the beds were comfortable and pillows as well. It was quiet at night and the free breakfast was plentiful.

I noticed several times that utility doors leading to hotel storage areas and hotel working areas were left open during the day. It’s not only allowed unpleasant smells but also is extremely unsafe for small children.

The staff is excellent. Very friendly and responsive to requests. We got to know them pretty well during a long stay. Summer works hard to ensure that the expansive breakfast buffet is always stocked and clean. The night manager always made decaf coffee at 8:00pm because they knew I would ask for it. One spanish speaking staff member taught me how to use Google Translate so we could have a conversation after we played charades so I could communicate a request.

I would like to see the owner invest in cleaning or replacing the carpets in the hallways, as they were stained and had an awful odor in some places. I think the bathrooms could have been cleaner - one had a dirt ring in the tub and one smelled bad so I asked for it to be re-cleaned while we were out. I'd like to see better lighting in the vanity area - we stayed in several different rooms, and that area was always a bit dark for makeup, contacts, etc. There was no servicing of the rooms during our stay. We weren't sure if that was a covid protocol or due to staff shortage. It worked out fine for us, but was odd, and no signage was in the room to explain it.

Quiet on the non-hiway side nice breakfast. Front desk personel were very helpfull.

Used Booking.com 3:45pm , 1/2 hr before we arrived and 4:45 before the front desk could check us in. They said they could see our reservation , though conformation was not crossing over for them to provide us the room. Another couple were there before us with the same problem. Nice polite people at the desk though.

Breakfast was good, bed was comfortable, location was great. Staff was friendly. Pool was clean.

The non smoking room was near where smoker’s gathered and the air conditioning unit sucked the smell into the room. I suggest the build a small pavilion in the dog walking area to get the smokers away from the building.

Wonderful staff! Friendly and courteous and quick to offer assistance. The breakfast was well stocked and delicious! The staff kept the great selection of breakfast fare well stocked and fresh. A lot of added toppings and syrups. The lobby and dining area was very stylish and comfortable.

I thought everything was well done and a great value.

Conveniently located near a stoplight. Close to gas station/jiffy store.

One of the front desk staff was not so pleasant. Others were great! There is a $10.00 per hour for early check in fee (although the room was ready). Never encountered that before. May be the norm. Hotel is a little older.

The breakfast. The beds and pillows were good. The staff was friendly. The heater/AC system is a little noisy, however, the digital temperature setting is easy and we were able to keep the room very comfortable.

Two light bulbs were burned out. The bathtub drain is very slow causing the water to rise above my ankles while showering. This was the same problem encountered at the La Grange, KY location a few days earlier which had the same type tub and drain. I would suggest ditching cable TV or get another provider because it has extremely too many commercials that make watching any show painfully too long. Perhaps offer an HDMI cable so that the guest can stream via their personal computer.

Was surprised that it was actually good. Quality foods were put out. Great bonus.

Asked worker where is ice machine? He said I don't speak English. I asked question in his native language and he answered me in English. ??? Maybe once a month or so move the beds away from the walls and clean behind beds especially because you allow pets. Pet dander vs my CPAP filter
