Staybridge Suites Florence - Cincinnati South, an IHG Hotel0

This is our second stay at this property and we'll probably come back any time we're in town to visit family. I appreciated they are pet-friendly. The suites are a great size, big enough for us, our dog, and our baby's crib - still plenty of space to move around. Make sure to check your kitchen for anything that might be missing, it comes with a lot of stuff but they can provide more utensils if needed. The breakfast has enough options to have different things every day and their outdoor area is really cool! The area has a lot of restaurants!

Parking can get busy. The king-size bedroom was much smaller than the double bed one, would not recommend it. Traffic around that area can get bad! Airport noise can get loud depending which room you get.

Variety

There needed to be a vinyl type according style door that divides the entrance going into the sink and closet to give little more privacy and not disturb other family members , there were some cobwebs hanging in air above sink . There was not enough t ventilation in bathroom this is coming from a retired building contractor . Ref was good , pillows were great and plenty of them , I could not pick things but I’m also very practical Overall 8.5 -9 David Thomas

The breakfast was great, lots of options. It was a nice quiet hotel. The room was nice and comfortable. The beds were comfy. I loved the kitchen area as well, it wasn't cramped at all. The pool area was nice and clean It was close to restaurants and shopping, highway, but not too close. Very nice place to stay, highly recommend.

We had 4 people but only 3 bath towels. There was not a bedding set for the pullout couch we had to ask for it. Nothing that wasn't easily fixable. It was really great for the price!

Bed and pillows were comfy. Breakfast had good options. Pet friendly. Staff was nice. Great place to stay. This was my first time staying at an IHG hotel will be staying at more Staybridge Suites in the future. This particular hotel was at a great location. Meijer and many restaurants super close for any immediate needs. Whole family was happy and loved the room. Limited on dishes and silverware but it was nice to have what was available.

Bathtub had drainage issues. My kids take separate baths and it took 20 minutes to drain the tub water. My husband stepped on a shard of glass but it was clear and can see why it was missed from when the room was cleaned after the previous residents. Wish there was a bar lock. My 4 year old is sneaky and wanted to escape the room a couple times.

Hotel feels pretty new and modern. Breakfast is good with different options including a nice yogurt bar. Room is quite spacious with a kitchenette that helped us cook a lot with a decent 2 burner eletric stove top and a big fridge and freezer. Pet friendly with a good space for dogs in the back. Pretty cool outdoor area with grill and fire pit. The area is great during the day but dead after 9PM, no restaurants opened. Staff was very friendly and attentive whenever we needed something. Free laundry, just gotta have detergent or buy from them. We stayed for 9 days.

There's nowhere to eat after 9PM around that area and the hotel does not have a restaurant. No COVID precautions being taken, person serving breakfast was not wearing a mask or gloves. Most of the staff maskless. Wish the bathroom was a bit bigger.

Comfy beds, nice linens, wonderful shower, great breakfast.

The hotel room smelled terrible. It was very clean, but it smelled like gym socks. It seems like this may be some sort of intentional fragrance, and one that may be worth changing!

Complimentary Breakfast was very good, and the location was within minutes of everything we needed. The little kitchenette was a great plus food wise and I would definitely recommend this to a family or friend.

I had no issues in the hotel, the only thing I could improve is to check the chromecast attached to the TVs because even though they were ready to be used, they could not connect to the hotel wifi.

Cleanliness and full kitchen

Not the hotel’s fault but they were accommodating quite a few construction contractors during our stay, who would camp out for hours in their vehicles in the parking lot. It made the parking lot feel very unsafe with young children or as if a drug deal was about to go down, without knowing this context.

Loved the space for my family of six and 50-lb boxer! Thankful for the indoor pool and complimentary laundry. Breakfast was decent. Kids were happy, but I would have liked scrambled eggs or something hot besides waffles. Overall very happy.

My only complaint for the room itself was the lack of utensils for so many people. I probably could have asked for more, but I kept forgetting and we usually had plastic delivered when we ordered meals in from nearby restaurants, which there are tons available.

I loved that this location offers free laundry to guests, and that a key card is required to access the laundry room. Check in is very easy and fast, there’s a 24 hour snack / supply store located right next to the front desk. The coffee is surprisingly good! Cocoa notes and smooth! Honestly one of my favorite parts of the stay was finding out how good the coffee was, I was not disappointed! Breakfast bar was well stocked and lots of options, I stayed on a weekday so I can’t speak to what the weekend menu looks like. The location is great, you’re secluded but still right next to everything.
