Hilton Garden Inn Louisville Airport

I loved the staff, who were not only extremely helpful, they were very nice to us. Anything we needed or wanted they made sure we were taken care of. The hotel manager, Mickel, was awesome and super friendly. Also the hotel shuttle to the expo center was an amazing service that we did not expect, but it made our travel to the tournaments so much easier. Our room was very spacious and well laid out.

The only complaint I had was the breakfast, while it was good, I thought that $16.00 was steep. The dinner was very good and priced more reasonably.

kitchen and bar staff was excellent. Hilton needs to give these people a raise, they are the reason people keep staying in your hotel/inn. Hilton makes more than enough to give those employees substantial raises.

could have been more parking but the entire rear of the hotel parking lot was filled with golf carts. Not much room for paying customers. expand the parking.

The woman who checked us in on 6/28 (LBuren?) was so very kind and helpful after a long and frustrating day. She made our stay that much better! Great customer service goes a long way and I hope she gets noticed for it. The woman in charge of breakfast 6/29 was also amazing!o

Breakfast should be included with your stay. When I see a hotel that offers breakfast on their website, most people typically assume it's included with the stay. Shelling out an extra $72 for your kids to eat cereal is a lot.

Size of the room is very nice We had an executive king suite

The breakfast was okay. You could have them fix you eggs or waffles. Other than that it was standard Continental breakfast with bacon and scrambled eggs. Cracker barrel is the adjacent parking lot. And bang for your buck it's better.

We stay here every year for the NSRA Street Nationals. It’s our 4th year staying here and we couldn’t speak more highly of it! It’s always SUPER clean, the staff is always amazing, breakfast is great too!!!

I loved the location and front desk staff.

The coffee was terrible, I was hoping there would be a true coffee bar downstairs. The cleaning staff took our dirty towels and didn't leave us clean ones.

Staff was delightful. so friendly and helpful! And you have a shuttle. So many properties have dropped shuttle service and it was such a nice surprise, They even ran me across the street to the football stadium when I asked. Loved all three drivers that I met in the shuttles. Front desk staff are awesome.

The comfort of the room and the amenities within

Toilet paper holder is so far from toilet!! Yes!!! I literally had to get up off the stool to reach it!! Definitely needs to be closer!!

Location very close to Churchill Downs, the reason for the visit. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, early pool hours . Good outdoor space and if needed, bar and restaurant.

No complaints about the hotel itself. Only thing is the pool did not have a rail on both sides of steps getting into the pool. Necessary for stroke victim. Never thought about it before until needed.

I feel it was a bit expensive for the basic room. Also, I want aware of the $100 insurance charge so my card was charged $484 which is basically $500. I wasn’t prepared for that especially for a 2 night stay.
