The location was excellent. Far enough away from the busy Bourbon and Canal Street traffic but still only a short walk to get there. The staff was incredible. During every interaction we had, the staff was friendly and helpful. I have to call out one especially, Nesha(sp), the daytime front desk employee. She was extraordinary! I had coffee in the lobby daily, and every day she was exceedingly helpful to anyone who came to the desk. She had the best attitude and always had a smile and a kind word to everyone that walked by. She went above and beyond in every situation. She is a gem for this little boutique hotel. We will be back at The Pelham, and she is a reason for our return. We also loved the design and funky artwork of the hotel.

Our only complaint was that the wifi through out the hotel was spotty and weak. If that gets fixed this hotel would have it all for personal and business travel.

Our last visit was six years ago and we were very impressed with the remodeling of the hotel done three years ago. We choose the Pelham because of its value and great location; on a quieter street, but close enough to everything to easily walk. Also, it is a smaller hotel so you don't have to be held hostage waiting for the elevator on a 20 storey hotel.

Water pressure in the bathroom was weak, and if you are the first one to take a morning shower, the hot water takes a while to warm up. Other than that we had an excellent stay.

The room was exceptonally clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever had in a hotel. The staff were courteous, responsive and professional. The next-door restaurant was great with a fantastic menu and Pelham was able to secure prority seating in the morning. Harrah's is about 150 meters away and the French Quarter a five-minute walk.

There was no bell staff available when we checked out at 7:15 am but our car had been valet-parked and was brought directly to the front door.

I cannot speak more highly of this hotel! Ms. Nesha was our MAGNIFICENT desk assistant during our stay and she made the experience 10x better. The hotel itself matched perfectly with the pictures provided by the booking service. Our A/C worked perfectly and the room was perfectly clean and well stocked. The lobby was also clean and super modern when it came to styling. The location was to die for; roughly a 2 minute walk from Canal St. and 10 minute walk to the French Quarter or Bourbon St. The hotel itself is locked to the general public and is only accessible by the desk attendant or guests with a room key (gotta love the safety features!) The Ruby Slipper was located right outside the hotel; however, we decided to try other restaurants around the area (Jimmy J’s Cafe and the Creole House are MUST-EAT places!). WHEN I come back to NOLA, The Pelham *will* be the hotel I stay at.

We stayed on the first floor, so you could sometimes hear the conversations of people passing by. The area can be a little difficult to navigate once you initially drive up to it, but park in the valet area (if you choose to pay The Pelham for on-site parking, go in, let them know you're there, and they take it from there! I'm not quite sure where our car was parked the entire time we were there, but we got it back in one piece with nothing missing!

the staff made our stay great and it was in a good location. walking distance to literally everything. needed a Uber from the airport then used our legs for the entire time!

the hotel is older and more vintage which is completely fine. but, we did have to plunge our toilet at like 10-11pm. staff stated that the would do it but, that’s a pretty personal thing ya know lol. so better maintenance with the plumbing. Our room also had alot of moisture in the air. definitely could’ve used a dehumidifier.

My partner and I loved the convenient location of the Pelham. We were just a 10 minute walk to everywhere we needed to go. We also felt very safe in this location. We're happy we did not stay directly on Bourbon street because we heard from other travelers they couldn't sleep at night due to the loud noise, but we did not have this problem at the Pelham. The staff was very friendly and when we arrived, they kindly upgraded us to a king suite with a window view FREE OF CHARGE!

The staff were always amazing and super helpful. The location was great. The room was comfortable and had charm. I appreciated that the French Quarter Fest music was on the radio.

The water pressure for the shower was a little lacking. There is a vent in the bathroom but no switch to turn it on so it got steamy quick. Room was a little dark.

My stay at The Pelham was great! Upon arrival, I was instantly greeted and felt welcome. The staff at the front desk was always present, cheerful, and welcoming. I don't think there was ever a time when I didn't see staff in the lobby, which is impressive for a small hotel. Heading upstairs, I was instantly impressed with how upscale the entire hotel felt. It would have been easier (and surely cheaper) to not put the amount of effort and time this property has into creating a unique, eclectic experience. I loved the touch of walking into my room to jazz music playing on the radio - for a second it honestly felt like I stepped back in time (in a very cool way!)

The Pelham is clean and quiet. It was a short walk away from Canal Street and Bourbon Street, meaning you could easily have fun but don't have to be kept up at night by it (if that's your thing). The hotel itself was quiet. The AC served as white noise in my room so I was never bothered by noise from other guests. Staff were friendly and always a short walk away. I would stay at the Pelham again for business or vacation.

There are interior rooms with no windows which is great for people who like to sleep in blackout rooms. Not so great is you are used to having a window (or a clock) so be sure to consider that when booking (or double check the alarms you set!). There wasn't a microwave in my room but you can ask the staff to heat up any leftovers you may have.
