The location was great. It is walking distance to things we wanted to do in the French Quarter. I liked the availability of refreshing water in the lobby, especially because we were there during a very hot time of year. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Our room was overlooked in the cleaning rotation a couple of days. Thankfully, it was taken care of when we alerted the staff. The staff were polite, but only one really seemed approachable. The microwave sat directly on the refrigerator, which sat on the floor. I found it odd that it did not sit on a piece of furniture.

It was a good place to stay. I liked the room and staff.

I was given written confirmation that parking would be $20. It was $28. The explanation was a3rd party lot had increased the price. I did not like that but our stay was so pleasant that I got over it.

I would recommend La Galerie to anyone. The hotel was wonderful and the staff were pleasant and professional.

Sadly I can't say that I'd recommend New Orleans to anyone. The Big Easy is Sadly long dead. New Orleans feels like any other major city now. You can't go two blocks without being approached by a homeless person looking for money. The relaxed atmosphere is gone. Heck even on the famous Burboun St. Someone approached me for a cigarette, then grabbed my wife's behind. So though the hotel is great, New Orleans just isn't the same.

Friendly & helpful Reception - felt genuinely welcoming. Very clean and close to French Quarter: a very convenient location. Free chilled water in lobby. Lots of help and info.

Air conditioning made corridors freezing. It is v hot & humid in NOLA but it would have been nice to be able to open a window in the room -like many hotels, this relies on air con for air flow. Lack of hand-held shower. We had a standard room - probably worth paying for an upgrade.

The location couldn't be more perfect. It was close to both the CBD and French Quarter and had practically instant access to all the main lines without the hustle and bustle of Canal St directly. The parking, even though self park and off-site was cheaper than average for the deck and incredibly close. We had an interior queen room Some might consider the lack of window a drawback, but it proved to be a nice option for noise mitigation. It was rather quiet all things considered (location especially). The bathroom wasn't small despite some of the other reviews I have read. Me and my fiancee both fit comfortably. I will say that the entry door is quite open and not the best design for the floor, but that's not really my problem. Just use the provided floor towel. Water pressure also wasn't an issue either, and it was fairly well booked our trip. The staff was exceptional, very personable (which you don't find much these days), and accommodating. The amenities offered were a respite from the heat wave.

The only negatives I could find were minute. The a/c sounded loud and quite odd at times through the night, but could just be a design issue more than anything, and the TV wasn't a smart device and cable channels were limited, but that's not what I came to the city for.

Staff at front desk was beyond nice!! The same lady was on night shift when we checked in and doubled back to do a day shift a few days later when we checked out. She was lovely!! The evening ceremony (and possibly management) was on the one night that we got to eat out. He gave us a few delicious recommendations. We will return.

Crane parked in front of hotel during morning check out times. Could not load our car in front and the hotel did not have a plan B. We had to carry our luggage almost 2 blocks with our 3 dogs and it was HOT!

Absolutely fell in love with this hotel. A boutique hotel for sure, it has tons of character and good vibes. Completely exceeded my expectations. Maintained 'historic' feel with the amenities of a modern luxury. Many properties don't live up to their photos on-line.... this one sure did. Great value...almost feel like I owe them MORE money. Great location away from noise of Bourbon St. but close enough to everything in French Quarter,... what a delight. I will return without question. Bourbon St. is a 3 minute walk.

was there for a quick night and everything seemed new. from the moment I walked in, security and front desk could not have been nicer and more helpful. you self park not far away at Canal Place, $28, a bargain and the room was large, exceptionally clean and beds plush and great. bath had extra towels. you know how the photos often exceed what you get. hotel brochure had great photos and the real picture was as good for better. very happy customer! thanks for everything.

it's in an old French Qtr building, with the hotel part fully renovated. noticed hearing rushing water in the pipes perhaps anytime anyone I guess in the hotel - used water. not bad, but different.

This is a beautifully decorated hotel that is easy walking distance to everything - shops, restaurants, attractions, and streetcar stops. Not only did we love the excellent location and well-kept building, but the staff was the friendliest I’ve ever encountered. This is our favorite hotel in New Orleans and look forward to coming back again.

The staff are their best asset - Jasmine was amazing and really made our stay amazing. We had a suite which was good size. The location is also great with easy walk to most tourist spots including Bourbon street, Jackson Square and the river. Rooms have microwave and small fridge.

Prefer to have coffee/tea facility in the room rather than shared in the lobby. Initial room we were put was dark and smelt of damp but upon consulting reception (Jasmine) she was able to move us to a front facing suite which was so much nicer.
