The staff at this property were AMAZING and went above and beyond. Thank you Terry and Jalyssa. I had an issue with the guest laundry and they helped resolve it. They not only finished my laundry but delivered it to our room. Our room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. There was a fridge, microwave, and the in-room coffee was better than what most hotels provide.

The side door to the parking lot allowed you to exit but not re-enter using your key. It makes tasks like walking your dog or loading luggage into your car less convenient. With permission, we propped open the door but it would be more secure to have a working key card system.

The facility was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The manager was extremely friendly and accommodated a late check-in.the complimentary breakfast was VERY good! Many selections including fresh waffles, fruit, yogurt, cereal, coffee, juices, eggs, sausage, gravy, grits, toast ,bagels.

I was really looking forward to the hot tub and it was a deciding factor in my choice to book. I have a bad back and knee and was hoping to soak in the hot tub. It was broken when we arrived which was disappointing but I'm reasonable and I do understand things break. It's not management's fault the repairman hasn't come yet. Manager was very sweet and apologized for inconvenience.

The staff and breakfast

The computer didn't work this is like the 2nd or 3rd time I've stayed here and the computer didn't work. Because of a lightning strike, the monitor didn't work last time. The printer didn't work 3rd time. The tower got zapped. How much is a couple of surges protector s 20 bulks. This almost cost me 25k.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. There were also plenty of nice, thick, towels available. Was very pleased that they were dog-friendly!

The breakfast bar was well stocked with a variety of items; however, the mainstay waffle mix was too thin and watery and required extra time to cook. The cheese grits (good to see it on the buffet) was just so-so. It wasn't seasoned at all and I'm not sure what type of cheese was used. The microwave in my room was very old and outdated. The outside green spaces could use some attention. Lots of trash, empty bottles, etc in the area where I walked my dog.

I stayed through the storm francene. Didn't lose power. There was no breakfast due to the storm.

I paid twice. Once through Booking to hold the room and a second time when i got there. The hotel was only taking cash. Staff wasn't made clear that I already paid for the room. I got a refund after.

It was great.. Ema at front desk was wonderful Breakfast has REAL BUTTER which is amazing instead of the margarine gook..

That the staff goes to their frequent smoking breaks right in front of the side entrance from which guests are entering as it is the entrance from the parking lot and must go right throught the heavy smoke..

We stayed twice, going and returning to/from the original destination. The consistancy in rooms (both cleanliness and comfort) as well as the nice variety in cold and hot breakfast selections were reasons for our bookings. The professionalism, friendliness and helpfullness of the staff only compounded the facility experiences.

In leaving the motel location, the main road required a u-turn to gain access to the west bound interstate. Not too much difficulty as the times we traveled, traffic wasn't problematic in making this turn.

They had an assortment of breakfast items each day that were great to get your day started. You did not have to go to a restaurant, order, and wait to be served.

I thought the room was a little dark, and I felt like the mattress protector was a plastic because it felt like you slid around on the bed.

Quiet location near several dining options and a bit of shopping. We always stay here before cruising out of New Orleans, it’s a short 30 minute drive to port in the mornings.

I wish they would take the plastic like covers off the bed, they are noisy and HOT

the staff was superior. especially the day staff checking us in. She was the most helpful and nice person I have encountered on my travels over the past few years. I cannot recall her name unfortunately. She is Africa America and an absolute star for the company.

The bathroom had rusted towel racks and several lights were burned out. The prior guests in the room obviously were to lazy to plug back in several lights they unplugged to use for cellphones and gaming devices. The staff should check those things out , making sure there are lit bulbs and plugged in lighting. To be fair I find the unplugged lighting in most hotel rooms.
