quiet, corner room, nice shower, room had a gas fireplace for the winter, the house had a 24x7 kitchen for our use to make coffee/tea, provided cookies or breads as a snack. Breakfast was served daily in each house. Continental with a small hot item. The 2nd day, it was an egg snack with spinach. The chocolate chip cookies were tasty as well as the strawberry bed. Bikes are available onsite. Home was side street not far from downtown.

The hot breakfast item the first day looked like an overdone hash brown however; it was some sort of egg/cheese item that was lacking taste.

We celebrated our second anniversary and had such a fantastic time! The property was beautiful, friendly staff, and clean. We were able to check in early. We LOVED the texting feature for communicating it made the checking in/ checking out and question process seamless. The location was right in the middle to the beach and the town in walking distance or a very short drive! We loved the breakfast and the 24/7 coffee tea and water! We put in our notes we were celebrating our anniversary and they left us a sweet note and treats for our stay! Due to a winter store, we didn’t want to leave early but felt for safety we should! they were totally understanding and gave us a refund for the 1 day which were so appreciative and will be loyal to them for every visit.

the bed in the our room was so loud and squeaky every move we made it was so loud we felt the whole house could hear it.

Breakfast was adequate. When I stayed at Captains Lord Mansion several years ago, I remember it was suburb. The staff was wonderful and the houses and rooms were great

We were on the third floor which I did not realize when booking. It was very inconvenient as I have a bad knee and each trip up or down was very difficult, it was hard to get the luggage up but we did get help. Even carrying packages was inconvenient. I think you need to include the room location in the description. I think soda should be available and a wine half hour would be lovely. The location was great and the Captain Jeffers House was beautifully designed. We also liked that there was coffee/tea available 24/7 and the cookies were a nice touch. The bed and bedding were very comfortable and we loved the oversized pillows!

Although the continental breakfast had very healthy options, it would be nice to have a bit more variety (maybe several types of cereal, toast, bagels). But overall, the food was very good.

The gals at the check in desk were fabulous! The property was lovely and close to town - walking distance to shops and restaurants.

I was so sad we stumbled upon this place by accident. We were passing through and lucked out getting our room last second. it really was the best part of our trip. The only downside was leaving. We hope to be back soon and spend more time.

KCC couldn’t have been a better stay for us! The staff was incredibly welcoming and the accommodations were cozy and beautiful! The location is tucked away yet a 5 minute walk into downtown Kennebunkport. Breakfast each morning was exceptional and they made us feel right at home! If you are planning a trip to Kennebunkport- stay here!

A comfortable hotel for 2 nights, in a very old but very well maintained building.

No lift. 2 flights of stairs with no assistance with large suitcases. Very limited choice for breakfast, for this well rated and class of hotel, one would have expected more choice and quantity. Seemed to be provided as an afterthought.

location of B & B

my room was next to main entrance of the B & B/house so at night when trying to relax/sleep after 9:30/10 pm everyone was coming back from their dinners and entering by the room so it was noisy for 1.5 to 2 hrs and no privacy if we are talking in room. should switch the nighttime entrance at night at the Jefferds House to the side door so those stay ing at 1st room as peaceful sleep and privacy after 9:30 pm at night

Beautiful property, super friendly staff, delicious cookies and breakfast, lovely common area decorated for Christmas with music.

would have been nice if the little private party bubble things in the yard were available in the evenings rather than just during the day. I think they would have been more successful if they been available until 8 or 9pm.

The home is stunning and beautifully appointed. The rooms were wonderful, beds comfortable, and the grounds are lovely and a great place to enjoy the best homemade cookie I have ever eaten. I went back for seconds! Breakfast was delicious!

Our room on the top floor was a little warm and just didn't seem to be able to cool as much as I would have liked. Also, I wish one of the staff had offered a little more history or anecdotes about the house and family.
