What a delight, Beautiful location right on the waterfront and old-world feel to this hotel resort. Very family friendly with many families and small children when we visited which did not bother us at all. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast choices and quality was excellent. Food in the pool bar was average, but staff service made up for this. Lovel, safe very quaint hotel perfectly situated for walks to little town and bike riding around the neighbourhood. Our room was lovely.

Some day trippers seemed to park across the road and wander in to the hotel and headed straight to the pool and lawn chairs and whilst there was no issue it did seem a little lax in terms of ensuring hotel guests were prioritised for seating and pool use.

We enjoyed the large window that overlooked the pool and bay. It was off season, so we were unable to enjoy the outside facilities due to cold temps. We visited the small pub onsite and it was very fun and the cocktails were excellent along with the clam chowder. We met some of the other guests and had a wonderful time. The bartenders were great. The breakfast was excellent.

We enjoy being able to walk to town, and with the temps, it was a bit too far to walk to town. I felt the prices were a bit high for the time of year being that when we spoke to other travelers in the area, they were in much more reasonably priced accommodations that were as nice. I realize that the property has history which may be the justification for the higher price. Overall, it was a very satisfactory stay.

We ended up with a huge room on the top floor that felt more like a suite - separate living and sleeping spaces. Breakfast was amazing, probably the best included hotel breakfast I've had. The grounds were beautiful and it seems like they have a lot of activities to offer. It was great to have a shuttle to take us into town. Walkable to the beach and restaurants.

Need a better curtain in the bedroom of 408. It didn't really block the sun in the morning at all. Also, we booked a queen room and that's what the reservation said, but the bed was definitely more like a full/double. It was pretty snug.

I loved everything about this place would not stay anywhere else when I am visiting maine

Very accommodating when I wanted to change rooms, Belk service was right there to help me easy access to all the amenities. The best complimentary breakfast I have ever had plus the dining room was so beautiful

The breakfast was an exceptional buffet style with many choices! The service there was exceptional.

They were overbooked apparently and the first room we were placed in was not what we paid for but they did make it right and gave us a new room the second day that was beautiful! A complimentary free dinner for our inconvenience as well. This was very nice and we would return but we would not book on booking.com again due to their comment that this happens a lot with this website.

The breakfast was absolutely perfect! Perfect setting and service. There was a lot of variety of delicious food. The pastries were different and very tasty. The rooms were charming.

We were traveling with our grandson and chose 2 double bedroom. I wish we had chosen a queen with sofa or twin accommodations as the room with 2 doubles was a little crowded.

The breakfast was wonderful with a changing variety of excellent choices.

The usurping of pool chairs was ridiculous. We witnessed 2 different individuals who held 10 lounge chairs hostage all day without EVER returning to them! The establishment needs to develop a much more equitable procedure for this.

This was a great place to stay, although quite expensive. The views were fabulous and an easy walk to town, although there was also a shuttle bus into town. There were great facilities for children and canoes readily available for all.

Everything was more expensive than we'd anticipated. The rooms were incredibly small. There were very few vegetarian options on the menu at latitude and the one they did have was hugely overpriced. The facilities were mostly dependent on good weather so when it did rain, there was very little to do, although music in the reception as opposed to the pool area was great in the late afternoon / evening. Breakfast was ok but often long queues to order and a system which meant all queue for hot and cold buffet as opposed to separating. It wasn't self serve so had to wait for servers to individually serve everyone for everything.

The breakfast was amazing, very good and lots of choices. The place is beautiful, great view and amenities.

There was a smell of smoke sometimes through the fan in our bathroom that was a bit anoying but it was gone after our second night and everything else was perfect so it wasn't really an issue.
