Darling old hotel with plenty of parking. We stayed in the suite that was very comfortable. The staff was super friendly and beds were comfortable. Close to the craziness of Kennebunkport but far enough away to get a break when needed.

Because the Inn is old there is no elevator. So pack light and if your older take this into consideration. You will need to carry your bags up 2-3 flights of stairs.

Great location with parking lot. Enjoyed

I wish there were more electrical outlets in the bedroom, couldn’t locate them with ease (almost had to unplug one of the room lamps to actually use an outlet) until we took 10 whole minutes of scanning everywhere in the room to find only 2 useful ones in awkward spots : one right next to the bathroom sink (which didn’t seem useful due to no area to hold out electronic without getting wet) or an outlet which was randomly near the floor in an awkward spot in the room. I also wished the tavern was available during the nights we were staying— didn’t know they were open only Thursday-Sunday.

Our room was lovely, albeit a bit small - we will research the rooms a bit more before booking next time. The two recommended breakfast spots were nice (no breakfast included , just a 10% discount at these two places)

Unfortunately there was no attached restaurant and happy hour was only once in the 4 day stay. The room was small with no space to work on laptop - I had to go down to the 'closed' dining room - which worked out well :) I was looking forward to seeing a ghost - no ghost haha

I went with my husband the inn was quaint, there was plenty of parking, discounted beach passes and loved central to the community. We did find a cute cafe called Blue that we get a discount at, if we mentioned we stay at the inn. The cafe has nice pastries and excellent coffee and Frozen Lemonade.

The only thing we didn't like was our bed. The bed was hard as a rock.

The Kennebunk Inn is just off the US1 highway And car parking is right behind the inn. The inn is an old Victorian building with the bar and tavern on the ground floor. The rooms are on the 1st and 2nd floor. There is also a seating area on the 1st floor, so one can sit there to relax read etc We had dinner in the tavern which was really good and great value. We had their flat bread based pizza with their house Greek salad, which was very tasty. No breakfast, however just down the road is a breakfast cafe that does a whole range of breakfast meals again at a great cost.

Nothing. It a good place to stop if traveling the Maine coast route.

The location is convenient to shops in Kennebunk. The restaurant was great when it was open. The staff was friendly and cheerful. The Inn has been updated with new porches. It is quiet. Parking is free in the municipal parking lot nearby.

The room was sparse and located up on the third floor. There was a minimalist vibe to the place. IMO, This took away from the charm of staying at an older Inn. No one greeted us when we arrived at 5:45 PM. Instead, we had a packet with the room key in it. I completely understand if we arrived after normal hours but I think someone should have greeted us when we arrived during high season. There is no maid service once you arrive unless you have a specific request.

Friendly staff. Exceptionally clean! The location is great, you can travel north or south to great beaches, shoreline walks, shopping and dining.

It's an old Inn so floors squeak and some repairs are obvious so if that's bothersome to you, this may not be a good fit for you. Some of the rooms are small and the bathrooms very small. The rooms can be up a couple of flights of stairs so be sure to mention if you have difficulties with stairs.

The suite was spacious. I was pleasantly surprised that there were two full bathrooms (shower, sink, toilet)—one for each room. The ottoman in front of the couch pulls out into a table so it was comfortable to eat a meal. Both bedrooms and the living area each had a tv.

The mattresses in both bedrooms are old and need to be replaced.

Lovely, historic Inn... but it is old. For us that only added to the charm. Squeaky doors and floors, exactly the way a building with that much history should be. Great location in town.

I wish staff had been there to greet us upon check in as it was only around 6 when we arrived and the layout of the inn is a bit confusing. But we figured it out and I assume the inn has a small staff that probably starts their day quite early.

Very accommodating. I unintentionally booked the smallest room when I made reservations through a third party. I requested another room if possible and the staff was able to provide another room no charge. Also restaurant with a bar on site which was nice as we came in late. Fantastic cook and food.

No breakfast offered however the bartender did refer us to a new cafe -Merriman’s Farm Cafe - and it was amazing. The Mimosas Sampler is a recommendation for sure.
