Perfect location right in the middle of everything you need. You can walk everywhere you want to go, a lot of things to do, shops and bars to visit in a couple of minutes up to 15 minutes walk. We had awesome time in Portland and the hotel definitely helped us to have even better experience. Plus the bed was really comfortable and the breakfast was really nice too!

The AC was kinda weird. We couldn’t find the golden middle of it. We like to sleep on cold but when we’ve put it to 65 we were freezing in about few minutes but at the moment we’ve put it on 67-68 the heater was kicking in and was getting too hot. At the end wasn’t bad, just something that can be fixed.

This was our second stay at the Hyatt. The staff was very courteous and professional, especially the parking valets. I was quite impressed with the patience and professionalism of the desk clerk in dealing with a very difficult guest. We like the layout of the hotel and the location in downtown Portland is excellent. The EV charger for our vehicle was a real plus and one of the key reasons we chose the Hyatt for our stay.

You can tell the hotel is struggling with staffing shortages. Our room was not cleaned as well as we expected and an accident in the self-serve dining room wasn't cleaned up for quite some time. Our room during this stay was much noisier than during our previous visit. Nothing like a garbage truck dumping the bins at 4 am to get your day started.

Nice Place

I was disappointed because I arrived home and was missing some personal items from my luggage. We completed our packing and we left the room locked when we went down for a quick breakfast . We brought our own luggage to the car. We both know we put these particular items in the luggage and the only time it was out of site was when we were at breakfast . our only conclusion is someone removed while we were eating. There was an employee in the elevator with us that may have been a maintenance or cleaner. That’s all I got to say about it. Just stating this incase it happened to someone else also.

We loved the location. The room was spacious and clean. There were plenty of electrical outlets throughout the room and bath areas. The valet parking was worth the fee. Our car was secure, and we didn't have to worry about feeding the parking meter. We spent two days wandering the Old Port on foot. The only food we had was in the bar. Poutine. Handcut French fries, cheese curds, and gravy. Very tasty. Friendly staff....

I do wish we could have opened a window a few inches. I love fresh salt air.

The request was made for a feather free room, on reservation. We had to wait when we checked in. ( did give us free drinks of their choice at the bar. ) the room was clean again feathers found on floor. Had to ask for room to be cleaned each day.( didn’t expect to have to ask )we did and it could take up to two hours to clean our room. we asked and on the.. 4th. day they vacuumed and refolded towels and reused sheets and blankets.Had to ask for extra blankets since the comforters are all down. I guess getting your room cleaned daily is a thing of the past. Complimentary breakfast was great so great they kept running out of cups plates silverware! the valet was wonderful.. the bar staff first three nights was great. overall great trip besides my allergies really kicking in!

A very nice hotel in an excellent location for exploring Portland on foot. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and well equipped. The small bar was a great place for a night cap before retiring. Valet parking is available, but at $40 a day plus tip, a little pricey for a guest. Breakfast was just OK as the hot selections were limited to eggs, hash browns, and turkey sausage. But the breakfast was included so you do not expect too much. All in all, I was quite satisfied and will likely return the next time I need to be in Portland overnight.

Chose this hotel based on the location. Did not disappoint! Hotel was beautiful, complimentary breakfast. Got a free drink for the first night from there full bar. Note the drinks are limited for the free voucher! Rooms are clean spacious and have excellent views of the city (depending on which room of course). Has a nice pool very relaxing stay! They also offer parking for a fee but you can come and go as you please which was very convenient!

All in all the stay was great! Really no disappointments. Although I wish they had a little jacuzzi that would have been top notch!

I like when coffee and tea are available at all times in the lobby. That was not the case for this location. It's a simple option to provide but helps make the guests feel more comfortable throughout the evening/night.

Nice hotel in a great location with a great view. The breakfast was above average for hotel breakfast.

It's a decent hotel at a very high price. I assume this is because of the location. To add $40 a night for parking on top of that seems a bit outrageous.

Wish I could put into words how happy we were with Hyatt Place. Every time we left or came back, staff would always smile and welcome us back. Alex was amazing with answering questions or offering suggestions for dining and things to do. All the staff were amazing. But Alex, and a gentleman with glasses and mustache were the ones we dealt with the most. And the lounge was OUTSTANDING! The bartenders were all attentive, drinks were tasty, and the food boards were delicious!

The only thing I guess I would have to say is that I wish the little snack area down in the lobby was a little bigger, maybe add some dairy products.
