Obviously, the location and view. Everything was so convenient. The atmosphere was relaxing and family oriented. Great value and had everything needed in the bathroom ( LOVED the make-up towel). Coffee maker convenient too. Had 2 issues in the room ( TV and hairdryer), and both were taken care of immediately. So close to Nubble Lighthouse too was great.

The website nor check-in said breakfast was only offered Fri.-Sun. In the past, it was 7 days. Got down there first morning ( Wed.) and found out no breakfast. When asked what other options, they told us some place down the highway that required the car. Luckily, we found Molly O's, one block away. It was one of our favorites and food was great. Might need a couple more Adirondack chairs on the front grassy area. Would have loved if screen door had some sort of lock to feel comfortable leaving door open.

We had a beautiful 5th floor room the size of an apartment. Large bedroom area, living area, kitchenette area, dining table, and a cute little nook on the corner with windows all around, as well as seating and a second television. There was a small balcony with gorgeous ocean views. The balcony would be a little tight if the neighbors were out on theirs too, but they rarely stepped out onto theirs.

Very little. Breakfast was complimentary, so a feast can't expected, though it would have been nice to have options other than heating up a breakfast sandwich, or bread, fruit or cereal products. But that's a minor deal because there's a pub downstairs with very good food and a wide variety of beer and cocktails from which to choose. Water pressure in the shower could have been stronger but another minor thing.

I’ve been here once before 2 years ago and I remembered our server at the Grille, Tracey, She’s absolutely wonderful! The front desk attendant late Thursday night, Katrina, was very friendly and helpful! I LOVE seeing the Ocean from our room and sitting out on the balcony!

There was not a little trash can in the room like the last time, there was only one in the bathroom. The carpet did NOT seem yucky or anything I think it just needs a shampoo because I didn’t want to wear my flip flops around the room and my feet were getting dirty from the carpet.

The location is perfect, even more so because we stayed for the wine dinner hosted by The Union Bluff (which was a wonderful experience in itself). This was our third wine dinner and we are already excited to come back again in winter for the next series (hopefully, they continue with them) !

Breakfast was not included, despite saying so on the booking. Also, the Wi-Fi is terrible. It was almost impossible to make/receive phone calls or share the wine dinner experience (or any part of our weekend getaway) with friends and family via social media.

Property was nice, just absolutely not about customer experience or service. Just get them checked in and hope they dont need to bother us attitude. Room AC needs a cleaning and upgrade…… on lowest setting was just cool. And only one unit. Nothing in bathroom as far as air vent. Main Room can use a ceiling fan. We were in the meeting house. Parking is terrible, need more spots.

Union Bluff is a lovely, historic hotel in a great location. The staff was friendly & accommodating. It was also really convenient to have a restaurant & pub/grill onsite. My room was located in the annex building & I found it to be quiet & comfortable. And the view of Short Sands Beach from the (shared) balcony was just incredible! I woke up early every morning just to catch the sunrise. I'm so glad I decided to stay at York Beach which, at the time I visited, was peaceful & not super crowded compared to some of the other port towns I visited during my trip.

The included breakfast was a little underwhelming. As it was served in the lovely little restaurant inside the hotel, I expected a decent spread, at least some eggs & sausage/bacon perhaps. But it consisted of no hot food, mainly just breads (bagels & English muffins), cereal, & a small selection of fruit.

We stayed Labor Day weekend for three nights and there was a wedding every night which is fine, but the parking was awful we could not find a space to park without driving around waiting for someone to move and there were at least 30 cars that were parked that did not have a permit so they were taking up the spaces and a paid a great deal of money to stay there so I should have been able to park .

Can’t beat the location! We had a beautiful room on the second floor with a full view of the ocean and a nice large deck to relax on.

The restaurant/bar food is not as good as it use to be. Usually we eat there multiple times during our stay. This time we ate dinner once and never went back. Our room wasn’t the cleanest. There was dried toothpaste on the bathroom sink when we arrived and some small pieces of trash left behind from the previous people.

This last-minute getaway was perfect in every way. We loved having a balcony with the ocean view, and while it was still chilly out, I bundled up and took coffee out with me to enjoy the views at sunset and again at sunrise! We ate a delicious dinner in the pub and then enjoyed the ample continental breakfast in the dining room, overlooking the water . The rooms and public spaces were impeccably clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Could not have asked for a better experience.

I was charged for my stay upon arrival and an additional hold for the same amount was put on my account for three days. When I asked at the front desk, I was told it was not there fault and it was due to a new computer system within the last year. The charge did drop off after 3 full days but this is not normal to be charged double at check-in and have to wait until the day after you leave to have the hold released.
