The room was very nice and the check in staff were super helpful. The location is fantastic. Its right next to the metro and the trains can take you most everywhere in DC. The hotel is far enough from DC to be cheaper, but close enough that the train in is easy. To get to metro station it was about 40 minutes, and it goes by fast. Also the kids museum is right next door which is great with families with kids. Our room was very clean too and housekeeping was nice.

The only real complaint I has was that we could hear a lot of sounds from the lobby. A lot of noise echoed up to us. We think the door's seal was a bit bad. From the inside, with the lights off, you can see a stream of light from the hall.

The rooms here are quite large for the price, and very clean. Location can't be beat, right in the middle of Bethesda, so you can walk to so many restaurants and the metro is right there. Bathrooms have been modernized, the beds are super comfy and linens are high quality. Staff is fantastic. Always friendly, always ready to help.

The reason this property is so well priced is that it is not a full service hotel. You get a lovely room, but that's it. There is no breakfast, no room service, no laundry service. Lots of places around to order food delivery, and there is a Morton's steakhouse in the lobby. For breakfast there's a Brown Bag cafeteria style place and a Starbucks in the lobby. I just walked across the street to the new Marriott for breakfast, where there is a nice casual restaurant with great atmosphere. I also don't like that the windows do not open. They are old windows that don't bring in much light, and I love fresh air.

The property is very nice and in a good location and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We were told upon arrival that the room would be cleaned every 3 days. We thought it was an inappropriate reduction in service from what we are used to when staying at a hotel. We requested daily cleaning which the hotel honored. However, the cleaning staff did not do a very good job. We found dirty cups in the room each evening and the beds were not made well. They should improve frequency and cleaning service. Otherwise, it was a very good experience.

Pros: My room was spacious and very comfortable. The decor was beautiful. In case you didn't want to eat at the restaurants in the hotel, you do have the option of choosing some of the great restaurants nearby. I felt very safe when walking the streets at night. The metro is conveniently located near the hotel. So you can go downtown and visit the museums or other historical sites. Don't forget to visit the Zoo! Con: Parking. $24 per night

Parking $24 per night

The hotel was right next to the metro red line which takes you in Washington DC centro allowing you to visit main attractions and museums. This made the location superb for visiting Washington. The beds are large and comfy which is the most important thing for me. Staff, including the door man, were friendly and helpful. Giant Supermarket within a five min walk and many restaurants close by.

There was no breakfast room and you got a voucher for Starbucks for, which was on site ,instead.

The bed was comfortable and the room was very spacious. It had everything I needed. The hotel had a Starbucks and two other food options. It was very close to the metro which was so handy

I didn’t like that I was charged $50 per night for “incidentals” without being informed of this. Had I known, I would have used a credit card instead of a cash loaded Mastercard which tied up my money. I explained to staff several times and never received an apology which was disappointing. I did get the money back after check out but my holiday was over then!

The staff were incredibly kind and understanding of my situation (a terminal illness in the family with an unknown end date). The room was kept impeccably clean and my things were undisturbed from how I set them out. I was provided with two extra comforters because it was a chilly outside and I had a bout of influenza (on top of everything!). There was both a Starbucks and a The Brown Bag more or less in the lobby for breakfast, which was very convenient.

The expense! Though I did receive a favourable rate, thanks to the kind staff.

Perfectly located hotel in Bethesda. Lots of eating options nearby. Also has a CVS nearby. Easy access to DC whether driving or by metro. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel was clean and beautifully designed with lots of natural light. Love that they provided a shower cap and cotton swabs. Very thoughtful. Would definitely stay again.

The sounds of construction in the morning. No fault of yours though.

Check-in was very fast, the reception staff was extremely curteous, pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious, very clean, and the bed comfortable with crisp sheets and enough pillows (fluffy too :-)). The location is exceptional, in the middle of all the hustle and bustle, close to public transportation (which we didn't need, however, worth mentioning, for those who do). There is a Starbucks on the premises, but also other cozy and trendy coffee shops close by. We didn't try the steakhouse (Morton), but it looked quite inviting.

The elevators to/from the garage were quite confusing, maybe a little guide would help (since the garage is shared with other businesses, and there are two different elevators, one for the guest rooms and one for the garage). There was a magnifying mirror in the bathroom, however very dim lit, so I couldn't use it (in other words, good idea, not so good execution/result). Although the reception lady explained to us that cleaning (or servicing) the room is only done every three days (which was no problem for us-we were there only 3 nights), it woukd have been great if at least the waste/recyclables would be removed daily.

Nice comfortable room with good lighting, nice bed, couch with coffee table, desk, large TV with casting capability and plenty of power and USB outlets. Very quiet. Parking was $12 per day or $24 with in-and-out privileges. Excellent location with lots of restaurants and Metro station nearby. Red line takes you downtown in ~20 minutes.

There is a parking elevator on the outside that didn't work very well. It closed on us a couple of times (with open button not responding) and other guests were saying that it doesn't work well. It stops randomly on floors. Inside the hotel there is an elevator that takes you to P3 only, but you have to walk through a business meeting area and you're not supposed to use the elevator when there is an event, which was odd.
