Complimentary drink time needs to increase and could use cheese and party mix to help guess mingle

We have previously stayed at this hotel earlier this year and had a great stay so we decided to book again this August. Staff was great, from Beth to Anthony at the front desk, as well as entire breakfast staff. They work really hard.

The breakfast dining, although large, is really packed on the weekends. I’d suggest maybe getting a couple of more waffles makers, an easy fix to alleviate the long lines. Also, indoor pool is closed most of the day, Monday through Friday for private swimming lessons. They do have a nice outdoor pool to accommodate the guests but not as warm.

Great location, minutes drive to Westfield shopping center. Room is clean and comfortable , staff member very helpful, breakfast good. Parking lot is connected to main building via elevator and the bridge at 3rd floor, so very convenient and safe.

Shower could not turn off thoroughly, we heard the drip sound clearly at night😂. Room clean per request, which means you need to go to front desk ask for changing towel or a full housekeeping. If customer stay more than 5 days, room clean service will be provided at no charge on the 5th day. It’s not like ‘normal’ hotel stay that you’ll get housekeeping every day, though they do write their policies on the hotel welcome note, so this would not be a big problem if you read the note clearly. Besides, the cleaning staff is very responsible and had done a good job.

Love that all rooms are suites. (Important when you travel with a snorer!) Hotel is nice and rooms were comfortable. Parking at $20 per night is a better deal than properties closer to DC. Having a restaurant on property is handy when you’re too lazy to go anywhere at night to eat. The included made to order breakfast is wonderful, and the 2 complimentary drinks in the evening is a nice touch. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Having a restaurant open for lunch would be a plus. not as convenient to DC as we’d like, but not a bad trade off. Not being on a city street is nice if you want to stay out of the traffic. Not great but f you need access to the Metro. Easy driving access to 270 and 495 made it acceptable. Restaurant menu was limited (but what we had was good). Menu was in the process of being updated.

Room is very newly appointed, with excellent facilities and some unnecessary but welcome perks such as happy hour tickets and an excellent breakfast with made-to-order omelets and a wide variety of hot and cold foods. The reception was very efficient and professional. Extending the stay was relatively easy and they were accommodating to allow us to stay in the same room. For those also here for the NIH, it's a very easy drive down, and only a few minutes. Perfect for those early morning appointments.

The door between the king bed and the sofa area isn't lockable, nor does it really shut tightly. This does limit the available privacy between the two areas at night. One of the handles of this door also fell off during our first stay.

Clean and quiet. Staff very friendly, especially Fatima at the front desk.

I don't like being charged for parking nowadays, but that's life I suppose. What I really disliked was the bartender/policy. Just so happens that my son turned 21 during our stay. Embassy Suites still does the manager's happy hour, and we thought it'd be great for our son to be able to have a drink with us on his 21st bday. But alas, the bartender would not serve him because his legitimate Pennsylvania license was vertical. She told us the hotel policy is not to serve people without a horizontal ID, but of course you could clearly see the legitimate date...and it was clearly his birthday. Obviously, he's unable to get his horizontal license on this particular day because we're literally here in MD on vacation. I understand this is a policy, but that was simply not cool.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The location was close to Westview Mall/Montgomery and other places in the metro area where we needed to go. The facility was clean and quiet.

The breakfast could have had alternate protein options instead of just pork. There could have been more breakfast options, in general, such as pancakes, grits, hashbrowns, etc. You should have the option to take breakfast to your room if you have paid for it in advance. Other than that, everything was great, and we plan to stay again in the future.

Pool and spa whirpool were great during the weekdays, breakfast with fresh made omelettes was great and included in room rate, all personel was very kind and helpful

Car parking extra 20 usd/night was acceptable, but included in rate will be better without big issue. Kidness of personel that we appreciated was a bit contraproductive in case of weekend days when hotel was full of kid lacrosse player's families that overstepping the hotel rules and even comon behaviors and personnel simply ignore that.

I stay here every time I am in Bethesda overnight. The suites are spacious and well-appointed, the free happy hour and amazing full breakfast are great features. The beds are very comfortable. In-room coffee maker and supplies.

The suite floor wasn't clean, didn't look like it had been vacuumed recently. Several dresser drawers were left open. Just not the same housekeeping attention to detail as I'm accustomed to there. Parking in the attached garage they own is $20 so I don't use it. I asked the check-in person for a room near the elevator as they usually give me one at the far end of the long hallway, which she did again despite my request, also on the top floor with the elevator stopping at nearly every floor. So, as usual, I marched back down and had her give me a closer room on a lower floor.

Nice suite for a family of four. Spacious (bedroom and living room with sofa), clean, well equipped. Large bathroom. Decent location (just next to a highway) for casual tourist visits of Washington, ca 30 minutes by car. Surrounded by business buildings and plenty of trees, with nice local shopping center within minutes drive.

Semi-kitchenette (microwave, kitchen sink) poorly equipped with utensils. Would be great to have some forks, knifes or spoons.
