This is the first time in 45 years that we’ve visited the Washington area. We came to visit the Washington Temple just a few minutes away and road the Metro a short walk away, into the city.

The bed pillows were shameful they were so bad. There was very little clothing storage space. I hate living out of my suitcase.

Good location, comfortable and has a very good view looking through the window.

the price of the parking lot is kind of high. Lodging in a facility should not attract such amount to park as a guest

The "tapestry" hotels, as we found out, are independent hotels in the Hilton chain, so the whole experience was new and interesting. The hotel clearly had seen better days and was indeed a luxury place at some point-not so much nowadays, but regardles, a pleasant stay. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, helpful, answering all our questions. The best feature in the room was the combination bathroom/dressing room, which had a tub/shower combo, plus sink with very large countertop, in addition to clothes and luggage storage, refrigerator and coffee machine; it was a whole big, separate room with all the amenities one could look for in a hotel.

The ONLY armchair available in this king room was very, very uncomfortable (and we are not usually whining about things like this!). There was no couch, or additional armchair, or sitting area to begin with, or a usable coffee table or ottoman, to put your feet up. Just a minuscule side table, not very useful. There was enough space in the room, just not utilized. The TV wasn't working, thankfully my husband was able to address the issue, as he is quite handy, so we didn't have to request help at 10-11 pm. Breakfast was not included, but we don't usually eat breakfast anyway. The most unexpected thing: in order to have 'free' Wi-Fi, we had to sign up for Hilton rewards! Who doesn't offer free wifi nowadays, and moreover, in a 4 stars hotel?

We loved that parking was included and that the location was close to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. If we wanted a meal, we could eat in the hotel restaurant or at any of the surrounding eateries. The hotel staff is POLISHED. Each and every employee seemed to have a personal mission to ensure the comfort of each and every guest. They are 5-Star-Service Educated!

Facilities very nice.

Poor parking set up. Underground parking was full and I checked in around 6:00 PM. Public parking across the street had very incomplete payment options. Staff at desk not informative on those options at check in. Booking.com site for hotel listed a room with two full beds AND a fold out couch. I was told at check in that their hotel had no such rooms. I went back to Booking.com site on my phone and found such a room was available.

The overall hotel experience was nice and comfortable. I love the pool on the roof top but I feel there should be drinks and snack served up there.

I didn’t like the parking situation. Paying $50 a day for parking is ridiculous. Also saying breakfast is included and than having to pay for breakfast, I did not like that. The water bottles is the room that were complimentary I also got charged for, I didn’t like that either.

We liked the location and value. Rooms were comfortable and it was nice to go downstairs to the bar in the evening.

We found the furniture to be too modern and the chairs VERY LOW for a 6' tall man to sit on. The garbage cans in the room should all have plastic bags in them to handle any hygiene waste or liquids. Breakfast food was a little overcooked.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy location to find and navigate. Rooms are quiet and clean, bathroom was nice. Blackout curtains are very appreciated.

The pillows were lumpy and not so nice. But when we asked for extras they brought us much better pillows. The bedding was fine but felt a little cheap. Not a deal breaker unless you're super picky about this kind of thing. And we ended up using the stairs rather than wait 3+ minutes for an elevator one morning (seemed that one elevator was out of service and the hotel was rather full).

The room was large and comfortable and neighborhood noise level was acceptable. Bar and restaurant on site, and a great Mexican restaurant just steps down the sidewalk. Front desk staff was helpful and pleasant.

Maid service needed to be arranged the day before. Maids were not too thorough (missed coffee, poor job cleaning toilet, didn't replace bottles of water). The garage is on site, which is definitely nice but the spots and ramps are very, very narrow. Be careful!!!
