breakfast was very nice, would have liked a little more variety. Cleaning staff very friendly and helpful even though we could not communicate with them (did not speak english). Very convenient to our daughter's apt and UMD.

Got a little messy at times, garbage overflowing outside, trash in the hallway. This did get better with our stay. We were also there for graduation and hotel was busy. Not sure when we stopped telling customers "thanks for staying with us, is there anything we could have done better?" ect. Second hotel I have stayed in this year and it is barely a glance up when you leave.

It was near a TGIF and close to the interstate, which was convenient.

I traveled with a friend and we were given one king bed in a disabled room—through Booking.com—so, we requested a room with two beds. We were told they were a few available, but we had to reach out to the booking company to changed. We contacted them and they said the hotel could make the change. We came back later, after the football game, to check in and was told our room had a pull out couch. It didn’t! We had to pay $16 to get a room with two beds.

The morning 7am front desk gentlemen (seems to be a shift supervisor)who I have interacted with in the last two stays have a good understanding of what a customer service is. He is very pleasant and always ask me if my stay was fine. Sonesta should be proud to have a such a wonderful employee representing Sonesta brand.

The young lady in the front desk on Wednesday evening around 5pm. Did not make any effort to fix my TV control issue. I can tell she is lazy and don't care about customers. She is to busy with her cell phone.

Great atmosphere, the room was clean, great staff! Super comfortable bed with lots of pillows. Love that the rooms have balconies. I get a kind of Mediterranean feel about this place. It's a super affordable place to stay.

The pool was very dirty in the afternoon because of lots of children playing around during the day. There was a funky smell in the room unless I blasted the AC, so I had to keep it super cold inside. But overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my stay!

The room was very comfortable with plenty of space. It was also extremely clean. I like the amenities within the property as well as in the room. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The AC/Heater was a bit loud and could not be turned off. Even when I pressed the "off" button on the thermostat, it still came on throughout the night. In addition, I could hear the television in the room next door which was not being played overly loud, but it must have been adjacent to the wall that backed up to my room.

We love staying at the Greenbelt Sonesta Select! The parking is safe and easily accessible. The rooms are very clean. We especially enjoy the rooms that face the inner courtyard. And now, the pool and hot tub are also open. Washing machines are available if we need them. There is also an exercise room. Breakfast is available. The Sonesta Select staff are a pleasure to interact with!!! They get 5 stars from us! We feel like Sonesta Select is a 2nd home for us!

Some of the toilets had issues, but once we communicated, the front desk sent someone promptly to fix the issue.

While our experience here was mostly positive, there were a few annoyances as well. We had been upgraded to a King Suite, which was very nice. The staff was great and the location was perfect for us We were able to go to the National Arboretum and the Tidal Basin for the "Cherry Blossom Festival" without too much difficulty. Also, Greenbelt Park is literally right across the street, though we didn't take advantage of that because of the weather.

On the downside, while the rooms were generally very clean, some of the upholstery and carpeting in our living room had stains; and the HVAC system over the two rooms didn't provide enough personal control. The pet fee is "$75 per pet, per stay", which is fine if you're staying longer than one night, but pricey if you're staying only one night. Finally, we received a message right before arrival saying the pool and restaurant were closed. While the hotel provided coffee and juice, they really should have made some effort to provide basics like bagels, yogurt, cereal, etc so we didn't have to hunt down food before going out for the day.

I booked through Booking.com and when I got there, they said that they didn’t have my room when I had got it three weeks in advance they were trying to cancel an give me my money back they didn’t even call me to tell me that they didn’t have my room I had to go in person for them to tell me very unprofessional but other than that our stay was good, the hotel was nice and I loved it

The staff were extremely friendly no matter who I talked to. The room was very clean when I arrived and l appreciated the mid-week room cleaning. The gym was nice as well.

The only thing I disliked about my trip was not the hotel’s fault, just a loud neighbor in the room next to mine for a couple nights.

Cleanliness is important to us. Being close to handicapped parking is important to us. We particularly enjoy the rooms that face the courtyard. We enjoy the hot tub. The breakfast is delicious. We feel peaceful and relaxed in the Sonesta - Greenbelt hotel. We know that the parking is safe. They have a stellar staff!!

One time we had noisy people in the room next door. We let the front desk person know and they handled the situation. Otherwise, the policy asks that people are quiet between the hours of 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.
